My name was being called in a distressed and frantic manner. I thrash under the blankets thinking it's my parents messing with my head.
I feel someone grab me and I scream terrified of them, if it was them.
That's when I awoke.
I see Ellie holding onto me the way I thought my parents were.
She stares down at me,"Amelia, what's wrong? Are you alright?"
I leaned closer into her, wiping the tears that had fallen without notice.
"I had a nightmare."
Ellie didn't look convinced at all. "But it couldn't have been that bad, with the condition I found you in."
"The condition?" I ask her, my mind not knowing what she had meant.
"You were screaming, thrashing loudly so I came to see what was going on. And you were hidden underneath the blankets, I grabbed onto you to get you to calm down but it wasn't working. Then here we are."
I nodded and remembered all the times I hadn't been able to eat because of a nightmare
I would always act them act sometimes ending up out of my room. Screaming, crying, anything that could happen has happened in that house.
