                                              You were so close
Right there
I could see your pupils dilate when you looked at me. 
                          I was staring at you 
Your face 
You said okay then and let me watch.  
                          Your arms were around me 
Warm, close 
It felt like that song, California Kingbed? 
                          I laughed at the closeness 
Ironical 
How you were there, but you really weren't. 
                          I turned around, away from you 
Eyes open
I dreamt about us, in a parallel universe, and real.
