Love's inner demons

Rough past

So I bring the gang together and we being talking about our past, then Foxy said, " Freddy tell us about your high school life." I hesitated, but said, "Alright, when I was a Junior in high school, I met this one girl, her name was Diamond, or at least that was what I thought of her, the way we met, was kind of ...weird, you see, I was going to tell her that her bag was open, and she backhanded me into the balls. She turned around and asked if I was alright, I said yeah, and from there we just talked about ourselves. Well, I grew attached to her, and again, the way I got her to date me was, kind of weird, I kissed her on the lips, she went running off, and then the next day, she kissed me. And from there we dated. For once, I felt happy, I found a girl that I can relate to, she inspired me to do choir, and pushed me to do the best I can. Then one day..."I feel tears coming to me, I try to hold it back, but I can't. Tears begin to run down my face, and everyone was concerned about me. I finally found the strength to say, "Then my ex girlfriend came over to my house, with one of her friends, and I cheated on my girlfriend." Everyone was shocked, no one knew that I cheated on girls before. I go on, "I felt so bad, I told her what happened, and we broke up, and it scared me, cause everyday I see her, every time I talk to her, I can't help but want to jump off the face of the Earth, I felt like I used her, and I can't fix what I did. I just wish I didn't cheat, I loved her, and I wish I could change the past, but that's the past, and this is the present, I just hope I've changed from then to now." Everyone is silenced, they all feel bad, they were all in my shoe's before, but not as bad as I did. Finally, Fred came to me and said, "That was the past, now you have tons of friends surrounding you, people that care." He  whispers to me, "Maybe if you and Chica break you, she might get back together with you, but don't hold your breath." We talked until 5:45am, and we all got ready for the reopening.
