i woke up to my phone ringing i role over to my bed-table, and looked at my phone, i wanted to scream, i answered my phone to my Ex-boyfriend asking, "what the fuck do you want trace, i told you a thousand times to stop calling me," i waited for an answer, "i just wanted to talk raven, i know we went off on bad terms i just wanted see if you wanted to meet up for coffee or something," i took a moment to think about it, whether i should trust him or not, "fine, 3:30, bean machine in downtown and i'm not coming alone." I got up to take a shower, i opened the linen closet and grabbed a towel an walked to my pitch black bathroom and flipped the switch to turn the light on everything in my bathroom was black, the same in my room, i turned on the water and got in and started to think about what happened.

(flashback)

i was in the house getting ready to go to work when my boyfriend walked in, he looked at me and grabbed my arm hard enough to leave a bruise, "i don't want you stopping any where else you hear me, go to work and then come home, and cover up those bruises whore," he walked out of the bathroom and i shut the door and locked it tears started falling, i barely had any friends, faye and my brother were the only ones, they always told me to leave him, they could see the pain i was in , but i couldn't he wouldn't let me leave the house only to go to work, i unlocked the door and started to walk out, i gathered my stuff and left to go to work, i came home to bottles of beer laying everywhere, i suddenly felt a sting on my face, i looked up to see my drunk boyfriend trace, i started to cry and suddenly everything went dark.

(end of flashback)

i got out of the shower and i wrap up in my towel and go to the kitchen thinking nobody's awake i get halfway down the stairs when i hear a voice's, one of them sounded like harley and the other i didn't recognize because it was too quiet, i walked slowly down the stairs and looked around the corner and saw austin and harley arguing about something i heard my name and decided to go in to the kitchen in only a TOWEL, harley looked at me, "Raven will you put some goddamn clothes on, jesus christ," i looked at him," i will in a minute i'm getting something to drink and oh by the way i'm going to get coffee with trace, would either of you like to come," austin looked up and put a slight grin on "sure, i wouldn't mind but mind me asking who is trace," i looked at him and then looked at harley, "he is my ex boyfriend he wants to get back together but i keep telling him no so we are gonna talk about over coffee and i told him i'm not coming alone so if you'd like to play my boyfriend for the day then i suggest you get ready," on that note he ran up stairs and i did too, i went to my room and grabbed a pair of high waisted shorts and a crop top and some leather boots and got ready i went to my little makeup stand and did my makeup by the time i got done austin was ready and we left to go to bean machine. We got to bean machine and i saw trace's bright red hair, to admit i was scarred because i didn't know what was about to happen or what was gonna happen i got to the table and trace had ordered 3 coffees one french vanilla iced coffee venti with 2 shots of expresso and 2 plain black coffees, "you remembered" i said as i walked up, "i recognize that cup," he looked at me and smiled, "How could i forget, listen i'm sorry for what i did to you i was such a messed up person i just miss you ok?!?," i looked up," i understand your sorry but i don't see a future with you in it, i'm happy now," he did looked at austin then looked at me," i understand now, you don't want to be with me because of Mr. perfect right? it's ok you were just a dumb stupid whore anyways," i looked him with a rage in my eye, " EXCUSE ME, LAST TIME I CHECKED I WASn't THE ONE BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF A 18 YEAR OLD GIRL AND GOT SENT TO PRISON FOR DEALING DRUGS," he looked at me," why would you say that, you got what you fucking deserved you stupid bitch," on that note i got up from the table with tears in my eyes and poor my coffee over his head and stormed of with austin behind me, as i got in my car i started crying harder than i was. When we got back to my house i ran to my room and locked the door then laid in bed crying.
