The wind began to pick up, the sound of a scream being caught in the wind and echoing a bit, followed by the splintering and collapsing of a tree. 7 hunters all watched as a transformed Kitsune picked up one of them who was bleeding, clearly beaten down by the fox from earlier. The fox growled before slamming the hunter into the ground, the force and power of being slammed breaking the bones of the hunter within his grasp. His claws had dug into the chest of the one below him, ripping through the armor he wore like butter. "Who's next....?" The foxes tone was more that threatening. The anger was like a shockwave of fear as he spoke. His eyes darted around, looking at each of them again and striking fear into them before he heard one of them speak. "Kill him!" As if on que, the hunters snapped out of thier fear stricken state and all rushed him. The fox stood up straight, a small smile on his features as his blood lust starts to take over. Kitsunes didn't normally hunt humans, but there was that slight fraction of times when they did. Each of them drew blades except for 2 who stayed behind with guns. They needed to be eliminated first or they'd cause a problem. Lerinth turned and evaded one of the hunters, sidestepping him completely and making him trip on his tail, all the while Lerinth had a good grip on him and chucked him into one of the gun weilders. He then shot one of his tails fourth, grabbing onto the other one, squeezing the air out of him until he dropped the gun. When he did, Lerinth threw the hunter away from the weapon and then began to focus on the other 4. It wasn't long before one of them charged him again, swinging the blade from the left towards him. He only ducked the blade, sweeping the legs from under the hunter which made him drop the blade. He continued the attack by jumping and delivering an axe kick to the man's stomach, which in turn made the hunter slam into the ground. Lerinth caught the blade as he landed. "I will show... no mercy..." He threw the blade down, directly into the hunter's chest. It didn't immediately kill him, but it would if the man didn't get medical attention. Unfortunately Lerinth was stepping on the blade, pushing it further into his chest. His blood lust increased, his eyes flashing red as he bared his fangs. He was prepared to eliminate the other three. Fortunately, the hunters realized that the weapons would get them killed, so the three them at the fox who simply moved out of the way, just as they had planned. The three advanced, two going on either side for a pincer attack while the other went in straight ahead. Lerinth's eyes darted between the three of them. "Tch..." The hunters from either side did a hook from opposite directs while the one in front of him attempted a kick to his chest. Lerinth closed his eyes, three of his ten tails shooting up to block or catch each attack. "You're all slow..." the words were neutral. Almost emotionless although it was clear that the fox was angered beyond belief. He held up a hand, clawing the hunter on the left across his chest, making him collapse in pain. The fox only picked him back up. The other two watched as Lerinth beat the hunter to near death before dropping him. He turned to the hunter on his right, picking up a blade. The hunter spoke. "All this... for a stupid girl...?"
Shiro had woken up now hearing voices. She couldn't help but be curious as she moved to the exit. She winced a bit and froze as she looked down. A blood stained cloth was wrapped around her. "So... I wasn't dreaming..." she spoke to no one in particular. Her thought process was interrupted by the sound of fighting. She would look out side, to see many hunters, either dead or unconscious scattered across the forest floor. She looked around, her eyes scanning the forest to see Lerinth slamming a hunter into a tree. He spoke, but she couldn't clearly hear what she was saying. She did note the fact that he had entered fox form, which meant his bloodlust was more than less likely active. If she didn't do something, the two remaining hunters would end up like the rest. She made a small groan of displeasure as she moved out from under the tree and towards the Kitsune. "L-Lerinth."
The foxes ear twitched and he turn around to look towards the familiar voice. "Shiro...?" His crimson eyes had dulled a bit as his bloodlust quickly began to wear off. He stared at her and she looked at the hunters.
"I will allow him to let go... Only if you leave us... and don't come back." Lerinth added pressure to the one he had pinned and both hunters quickly nodded in agreement. Lerinth let them bith go, by Shiro's request and they both ran off. Shiro then looked at the fox who had his ears pinned to his head. He'd let his bloodlust take over again, losing himself in wanting to eliminate his targets or wanting to protect Shiro by any means necessary. He looked at her. "I'm sorry....." He spoke softly as he sat down. She only sighed. "You must be careful... one day, I won't be able to stop you..." The words hit him hard. What if he accidentally hurt Shiro. He'd never forgive himself. He'd never allow himself to hear the end of it. He cringed at the thought. "I'll be more careful! I promise!" He sounded off. He didn't want any had to come to her, even through he wasn't entirely sure why. He felt the need to protect her. His bloodlust would do the opposite. He needed to control it.... or Shiro might be killed by the one who claims to protect her.
