Shiro had finally gotten tired of scolding the fox. Instead she had just had him help her treat the wound she had. After doing so and resting for just a little, which may have been a bad idea (at least Lerinth thought so), they had started walking again. "I see a light... is that... it is!" Shiro pretty much yelled, but Lerinth knew why. The two had finally reached the end of the forest. Shiro sprinted out and disappeared into the blinding light of the sun that had risen again. Those hunters took far longer to deal with than Lerinth had anticipated. He didn't mind, he wasn't all that tired. In fact, he felt rather energetic at the moment. She smiled as he watched Shiro run through the light, the same light that blinded him when he walked through. When his vision finally cleared up and he could see again he looked at Shiro. She was frozen, staring at something. He looked over her shoulder. Someone stood before them. It was hard to tell if it was make it female due to the armor they were wearing but they soon found out when the helmet came off. A girl. Emerald green eyes and blonde hair. It was almost mesmerizing. Almost. Lerinth and Shiro were both on gaurd, but the girl before them seemed totally relaxed. "Don't worry. I'm not going to attack you..." The two were still on guard. She looked at the Kitsune. Then back to Shiro. "I believe you two are the ones I've been looking for." This only put them both on guard. They were surprised when the girl bowed and stayed that way as she spoke. "My name is Lilith. I am an ex-hunter, cast out because I didn't believe in their ways. I've been searching for you two since I escaped... to help. I want to help." She was still bowed. She hadn't looked up once. Maybe... maybe she was afraid to make eye contact with them, for fear of wanting to see their faces when she pleaded to help them. But instead of scolding her, or flat out turning her away, Shiro only asked, "How can we trust you?" Lilith then looked up.
"Trust me?" She asked with a bit of a confused tone.
"Yes... trust. How do we know that you aren't attempting to lead us into a trap? Maybe you'll kill us yourself..." Shiro gave the girl a hard stare. Lilith understood the question. She did show up out of nowhere. She could lead them into a trap, but she didn't want to. She truly wanted to help them. That's not to say she didn't have her own motives, because she did, but she did want to help them. "I understand. I cannot prove my innocence... but, allow me time to gain your trust, to show you that I can be of service. I only wish to help." Lerinth looked at the girl. He wasn't entirely sure what to think about this whole thing. Shiro continued to stare at her before looking at Lerinth. "It's not my trust you need to gain. But to may have a chance." Lilith lights up and deepens her bow.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you."
"However..." Shiro interrupted Lilith's barrage of thanks. "I expect that you will be cooperative. Don't try anything, because if you do I'll let our little fox friend do to you what he did to those hunters." Fortunately, Lilith knew exactly what Shiro meant. She had seen Lerinth fight off the hunters without mercy. The though of it did scare her just a bit, but if she did what was needed, she wouldn't have to face the impatient Kitsune. All she needed to do was gain trust. Lilith wasn't to worried about Shiro. Lerinth was the issue. If it came down to it, Lilith would have to take drastic measures to avoid being killed. "I understand."
"Good. Lilith right? I'm Shiro and this is Lerinth." The fox waved towards her. "Nice to meet you. And thank you for allowing me to join you..." Shiro narrowed her eyes again. "For now..... let's go. We've wasted a lot of time." Shiro began walking. Lerinth and Lilith followed close behind, remaining silent as they walked through the savanna they had just reached.
