chapter one

Rrrrrrrrrrrr!!! I heard the awful alarm ring that told me that it was time for school. I jumped out of bed and headed straight to the bathroom to take a shower.

I looked in the mirror putting the final touches to my hairstyle, when I heard my moms annoying voice "Sonya !!get your ass out of that mirror your not gonna be late on the first day ."Today was the first day of school I was finally gonna be a senior, also hoping to start a new page in my life. I took up my new school bag and went downstairs.

There I met my mom giving me a horrible glare me being really outspoken had to ask"mom why you staring at me like that? ".she stood there in complete silence until I heard her say "I don't need any more calls from Mrs. Batchlor it's a new term and I think you need to make a change ".this was the speech she gave me every time a new school year started she placed $1000 on the kitchen counters ,which I supposed was my lunch money I just took it up and left. As I walked down the road to get a bus I heard a car coming with some loud music "shit!!! " I knew it was my ex Jerome I really didn't need to see him, we broke up over the summer holidays and I didn't need him to ruin the new me. I heard the car coming closer and closer to me I tried to walk faster but I was too slow.
