~FLASHBACK 3 YEARS
AGO~

"Goodmorning princess" my 16 year old self heard the voice of an angel, voice so soft and mellow rang through my ears. "Morning ma" I say in a soft voice. "Morning Alexandra" my dad said while walking past me while ruffling my hair."Dad it takes me forever just to put my hair in a ponytail" I say with slight amusement as my dad gave off a thundering laugh. "Would you like me to help you sweetie" my mom asked. I remember thinking about how she used to do it so I said "Sure, as long as you sing me a song." I say with a smile so small.

"Alright" We walk upstairs passing all the pictures we had placed upon the banister. Once we reached my moms room she walked inside her bathroom and comes out with a stool. She goes back in the bathroom and grabs a comb and a brush and this oil. "Take a sit and let me work wonders on your head" I gave a soft giggle as she starts to massage my scalp in with the oil she brought in.

"I spent all my life living in the shadows

I spent all my life trying to find my place

I spent all this time thinking of the lies I told my self

I thought about the fear that coursed through my body

I tought about the things that made me a freak

I spent all my life trying to be invincible

Someone strong who dosen't want anyone who dosen't need anything

I spent my life thinking of the things that I could change

Besides spending my life on who I could be"

Once she was done singing an original song, I could feel her eyes on me. Mine were close cause I was enjoying the feeling of having my mom do my hair like I was younger. "Alex, sweetie open your eyes," I turn towards my moms mirror and saw two French braids going down my back. I smiled at her through the mirror, telling her that I loved it. "Wait" she says as she walks away from me. I sat there in confusion, waiting for her to return. "Here every flower needs a crown" she said with a smile on he face. I looked back at the mirror as I see all the colors combine together. I was actually wearing a white crop top with blacked ripped skinny jeans and J's on my feet. I looked like the typical high school girl, just with huge nerdy glasses that I love. "'Alex, honey the bus is waiting outside for you," I heard my dad says as I walk towards the door. "Thanks mom for doing my hair, I really appreciate the feeling of you doing my hair. Alright I gotta dash, Love you guys see you later" I exclaimed.

But that's not what happen, I didn't get to see them, at school we were bomb barded with THE RIOT. They came and ripped teachers, students, anything that was in there way. I was surprised of the aftermath when everything calmed down. Guts littered the floor, insides of the peoples stomach lay on the ground, and even eyeballs were missing form thee sockets. I was lucky I always stayed in quiet places and I had my own section in the library that was clearly off limits to anybody........ I was at least glad I got to tell my family I loved them..........
