I slowly blink my eyes open trying to keep my eye lids from closing again. I started to feel water drip on me so I turned just a little and saw Zoe. I opened my mouth to speak but she quickly slams her hand on my mouth. 'Don't speak' she mouthed to me. She looks up and looks back at the door, now that I look around the beeping noise that was once was there stopped, the lights were completely cut off and the blinds are closed. I turn my head back towards Zoe as she cringes at what's outside the window. I sit up just a little bit so I don't make to much noise and see what she was cringing about. What I saw didn't really surprise me as much as it should, I have seen this happen multiple times. It was THE RIOT killing and wondering the hallways with blood and stuff hanging out its mouth. There was a slight creak in the door next to some of the machines....... "You guys still in here" we both looked to he left as we see he doctor that has been helping cure me. I bobbed my head up and down as Zoe just sits there staring out the window, she was so tense that I thought she was going to burst. "Alright guys, we are going to try and get out of this" He whispers slowly. Zoe turned around really quick and gave us a shush motion, we both stopped talking and moving. I looked out the tiny window as I see the slimly creature click its way by the door...... It stopped at our room and looked inside. I held my breath and made my eyes go dull , so they won't see. I slowly got off the bed and walked towards the door were the monster was. I knew that the two of them were looking at me as if I grew ten heads, but after 3 years of spending my time outside walls or protection I learned how to deal with THE RIOT. I move my head back and forth as I look into its beady eyes. I could tell the thing couldn't see me at all......I watched as the monster slowly opened its mouth and threw up all over the window. Once I saw it far down the hallway I turned towards them and asked "Is there anyone else alive??"
"No, they were all eaten by those things" Doc says. I give a nod and look back at the window, "He marked this as completed"
"What" Zoe asked in total confusion, "When they throw up on something that classify it as completed or that is there's" I say while cracking my back and neck. "How do you know this??"
"After three years of fighting and scavenging my way through these beast I simply follow the rules I made up" she nods her head in astonishment. "Guys we gotta go as soon as the suns set"
"Why" Doc asked still confused, "Because once its dark they can't see very well and most of the things like to sleep" He still looked confused but still nodded his head. "Alright all I need is my clothes" I say.
