The moment he pulled his trigger, the same time a Cop hit him from back which was enough to miss his target. With few good punches here and there he was in the grip of cop.But Sophie lost her control with the hit too and fell on an iron rod which was on the rod .Prof ran to her to hold her but she was already fallen.
Cop was hitting him again and again without asking him anything .
"Who the hell are you ," cop shouted as he spit some on his face.
"I will tell you but if only if you set me free after that ," the man said.
" Ok ! , now spit it out ," cop asked as he was in hurry.
"I .....................," It was what he said yet and suddenly he fall on the hands of the cop .Someone killed him with a silencer .Blood on the shirt of cop . He was shot on head with a very nice shot .
"Dammnn !! my shirt ," cop shouted waving his head left and right in disappointment.
"You are shouting because of your shirt and not because the man you just caught is dead without even saying any single word ? ," Langdon
"And don't you want to know who I am before asking that question because I think I just saved your life ?" cop
"Ohh sorry I was so busy in coming in troubles that I forgot to ask " Langdon with a smile .
"Well I am Mathews Jordan Special Branch " cop replied .
Langdon was looking him with a look of inspection and he had every right to do this because he was in trouble because trusting a stranger .So he thought he must ask the question if he is a real cop ??
Just then he replied " Don't worry I am not a fake one " .
"Did I was that loud ? " Langdon , " I wish it was not lame to ask this question because we were about to die ".
"No ,not at all !!" , Jordan . " Is she OK ?"
"Hmm I don't think so , I guess she might injured her head "
"OK then let's go to doctor first " Jordan .
A very nice looking Mercedes was there as he pointed to the other direction .Prof ask Sophie if she can walk ?
"Don't worry I am fine" Sophie replied
Jordan asked the driver to bring the car closer to them . Next moment car was enough closer to them .They were almost there to sit in the car .Just then Jordan asked " If you guys don't mind I would like to sit with you guys ?".
"It will be pleasure " Langdon.
Jordan ask him to go to hotel Virginia .And the driver accelerate the car . It was very hot outside so he turned the A.C on .
"So what is the mystery of the shirt ? " Langdon .
"I guess you can unlock this little case sir !!" Jordan .
"Hmm....." . " I guess a gift from your girlfriend because you don't look married yet " Langdon.
"And you are absolutely right " Jordan replied .
And this turned into big laughter with a big smile in every-bodies face .
When they were about to reach their hotel Sophie asked to drop her at hospital first. They took her to a famous hospital nearby .
After checking her the doctor asked her to stay at hospital for the night.
"I wish this hospital will not bring another adventure," Sophie
"Please feel free our hospital is very safe place," doctor
"Madam Sophie if you want me to stay here then please tell me," Prof
"No , please there is no need of you to stay here". "I have already created a trouble to you ," Sophie
"Madam Neveu any one can get injured ,in fact I am happy that we escaped very well because that bullet could have been very dangerous."said Prof
So when he said good bye to Sophie and asked the doctor to keep a good care for her .
Later when they were going for the hotel , Jordan asked him about Mr Jeremy .
"Sir I am a big fan of your works and I should not say this because its foolish to tell something like that ," Jordan
"What ? " "what you talking about ?" Said Prof
"Sir I work in special branch for Rome security services and my secret agents have found this tape ," Jordan
"Is it a recording of someone ?" Prof asked.
"Not of just someone,its the head of department in American police " Jordan
"You mean Mr Jeremy ?" prof .He was now filled with anxiety
"Yes sir, its him" ,Jordan replied.
"Can we please listen to this tape ?" ,prof asked.
when Jordan played that OK button first it was silent for around 10 seconds and then they heard a voice.
A stranger - " so what you think about it my Friend ?"
Another pause for ten seconds
Mr Jeremy - " All-right ,I will bring you all of those maps together but let them search all of them first"
"I can not believe how Mr Jeremy can do this to us ??????? " Prof was surprised.
