the hallway went silent as he strutted down

he could feel the sickening glances and smirks burning him down

but he managed to suck in a deep breath

though he knew he was just feeble

weak

ugly

and fat

time froze then and there

he realised his yes were watery

and tears began to stream down

his footsteps scurried

his heart racing

he sat on the floor, crying

running his almost skeletal fingers through his hair

a scratch on the wrist was all that he needed

to remind himself

that he was just another number

and another stupid toy

another worthless boy

with nothing but dull eyes

and ugly scars
