Piece 10

People think they can
Have peace and quite
Only in nature.
Yet, they still hear noise.
The noises of nature.
It doesn't bother them,
But there's still noise.

People think being alone
Is peaceful, but then
They deal with the
Chaos of their thoughts.

If you have a family,
Then you are loved,
But what if you aren't?
That is just our mind
Making assumptions.

Assumptions that provide false safety.
Safety that's not safe, or real.
It's our mind saying what it
Should be, but will never be.

People think you are kind
If you open doors,
But what if they did it
Just to make you leave?
They might open the door,
So you would have to go in.
This is all, but so true.

What if someone bought you a drink?
A drink just to get you to stop talking,
Even if it was just mere seconds.
Now, we don't know.
Don't know if it's curtesy,
Or just the opposite.

This one was actually shorter. Well... I'm working on more poems to put in already, but they will be smaller than these ones are. Hopefully my mind doesn't stop making these up. Enjoy what you like because I'm never gonna change what I put ( besides spelling errors ).
