Real Nightmares { Corick }

Cory and Nick live with each other in this one. Just saying.
Cory

I stood inside the damp cell under the base. I held a gun toward the person in chains in front of me. There face was blurred so I couldn't see who it was. Wait what am I doing here I thought. Looked at the gun in my hand in confusion. And why do I have a gun?
"Shoot him" someone said behind me. I instantly recognized the voice and turned around.
"Red"?
It was him, but at the same time wasn't. Instead of his usual dinosaur hoodie he wore a suit and mask. The smell hit me like a punch in the face. Flesh and blood was splattered everywhere. I started panicking and looked around. What is this? Where am I? And what's up with Red?! I turned back to the chained person and gasped.
"Nick"?
"SHOT HIM ALREADY" I heard Red yell. I went to turn toward him and tried to punch him for even suggesting something like that. But I couldn't move. I wasn't in control of my body. I felt my finger move on the trigger of the gun, and push.
"NO" I yelled, but it was to late.
Red smirked " faster next time Cory, or you'll end up just like him" and just walked away.
Nick fell on the damp, cold floor of the jail cell. Dead. I ran to him, and put his head in my lap, sobbing. What have I done. I just killed my best friend. Sobs racked my body.I just killed the man I love.

"NICK" I screamed, shooting up. I looked around and saw that I was back in my room. I was still crying, and even though I know now that it was just a dream, I still felt the pain of losing the greatest man in my life. Why him, why not me. I put my knees up to my chest and wailed. This isn't happening, he can't be gone. HE CAN'T BE!
I heard loud footsteps running toward my room and the door crash open. I instantly thought it was Red and yelled "HOW COULD YOU".
I could barely make out the sound of the voice as it yelled over my sobs.
" What happened?! What did I do?"
I felt him try to hug me but I pushed him away, my head still buried in my knees
"You made me shot the love of my life, YOU KNOW THAT".
I heard a small gasp and him murmur "who was it"?
What is he getting at? "Nick, you idiot, you know I have a crush on him"!
Wait just a second. I couldn't hear what the voice sounded like.... and Red doesn't live here. I looked up, terrified of what, or who, I'd see. I just stared at him. I was frozen. I couldn't move. What had I just done. Oh I know! I just told my crush that I loved him. No big deal. I looked down, ashamed. My life is officially ruined. He grabbed my chin and lifted my head so I was facing him.
Nick smirked where he sat next to me on my bed.
"Then I can finally do this" and kissed me.
I immediately kissed back, and let's just say it went from the worst day of my life, to the greatest. He grabbed my waist and we both smiled. Both are eyes twinkled with the happiest light anyone had ever seen.
He pulled back and looked at me with concern in his eyes." I'm sleeping in here tonight" he said, letting go of me and laying down under the covers. I just looked at him for a second, and raised an eyebrow.
He put his hands behind his head with a fake confused face.
"What, I want to sleep".
I squinted my eyes at him." So we're not going to talk about what just happened".
Nick laughed, pulling me down so I was actually laying on the bed.
"No" he said, smiling. "Because I'm gonna do it every day now" I blushed a deep red as he grabbed my waist, again, and pulled me against his chest. He rested his chin on my head. I smiled and curled into him. "I love you" I said.
Nick kissed my head and looked down at me.
"You know I'm gonna do this every day now, right" he said.
I smiled and said " that's perfect".
"I love you too much to ever let go" he said. He looked down at me. "And I'll always be here when you have a nightmare".
I chuckled and asked "even in the day light".
He yawned and closed his eyes. "What do you think I meant by 'always' ".

I'm terrible at writing but that was pretty fun!
Well, I need to go to bed.
