James POV
Is mommy gonna be ok? Chad asked.
" Yes she just has some bruises, that's all." He's so innocent and to see him witness something so horrific is a nightmare.
" I don't like daddy, he's always hitting mommy. I don't want him to comeback." He said
" He won't I promise." I know I can't make promises but I don't want anything like this happening again.
" Mr Anderson, we are going to keep her for the night and also her bill..." The doctor said before I cut her off.
" I'll take care of it. Can I see her in regards of her child?" I asked.
" Yes, she's in room 238. Visiting hours over. Make it quick." she said
"Thanks"
We went to her room. She look so peaceful.
" Mommy!!" chad ran to his mother.
"Hey baby, I miss you so much." She" o looked happy to see him.
" Thank you for looking after him. I owe you so much"
" No problem. He's a sweet kid." he really was.
" I'm sorry to ask but I have no one to watch him..."
"I'll look after him. No big deal" I interrupt her. "Anyways I don't have to go to work."
" Oh thank you so much. it's means a lot. Thank you, thank you. I'd hug you if I could" she giggled.
" Your welcome". She called on chad to talk to him. I kind of eavesdropped.
" Be good Hun and listen."
"Ok mommy, I love you."
" I love you too and take care. James, do you mind passing by the house and get some clothing, toothbrush and stuff for him? also the keys are on the table by the door just lock it behind you" she asked.
" Ok. Alright then let's go chad. Say bye to mom"
" Bye mommy. I love you." he ran and gave her a kiss.
" Bye Hun see you soon. Thank you so much James." she smiled

After I got chads stuff we made our way into my house. It's 10:15 p.m.
" Chad, you hungry?"
"Yes, can I have some cereal?"
" Yea"
After he ate the cereal, I sent him to brush his teeth. I gave him my room and slept on the couch.
