PREGNANCY SCARE -PART 2

"I dont understand , the other one said it was negative now this one is saying that you are. This is crazy" Jules said pacing back and forth. She is right. What is going on? "Ill just tell Kendrick to make me an appointment and get this cleared up" I sighed. "Do you think your ready for a baby" she asked. "Hell no , thats why im praying I am not pregnant" I said honest. Dont get me wrong I love babies and all. But I just dont think I could take care of one right now. Im not even stable. Plus with school and me trying to work. How the hell am I going to pull this off? Me a mother? Right now? No way!I threw the pee sticks away and washed my hands. "Well whatever you decide to do. Im here Mia" she hugged me. At least I have a friend by my side.After she went home I called Kendrick. "Hey babygirl" he answered.  "Its an emergency , hurry over" I hung up the phone. I dont have a clue to what his reaction or response was going to be for this situation. I was nervous and sad at the same time. I mean what if he doesnt want a baby? What will my daddy say? Dammit Mia all I had to do was keep my legs closed like a lady. A few moments later Kendrick texted me and told me he was outside. I ran down the steps and opened the door to see him standing there. I hugged him letting his cologne fil my nose."Babygirl whats going on" he asked. I kissed him then told him to follow me upstairs. We sat on my bed and I played with my fingers. I didnt know how to start this conversation. Do I just blurt out "Im pregnant or I might be"?. "Mia are you going to tell me what the emergency is" he asked. "Im pregnant. Well I might be. I need you to make me an appointment" I told him. He sighed. "You sure you might be. I mean we only had sex once". "And it can take one time to get pregnant" I snapped.  "Ight calm down. Ill make the appointment" he said. "Thank you" I looked down at my nails.

"Listen , I know we havent been together that long. But I do care about you. Alot. But I dont think we are ready for children. I think that its a little too early. Plus you didnt even graduate yet and im not financially stable" Kendrick preached. "Ken you think I dont know that. Im 18 with no job or my own home. Plus I said I might be. We just need to check at the doctors office" I nodded. He scratched his head. "Alright , just know that I'm here for you" he said. I hugged him , laying my head on his shoulder. "I know Ken". We chilled for a lil bit then ended up falling alseep. I got up about an hour later.I walked into the kitchen and looked inside the freezer. I grabbed the tub of butter pecan ice cream and sat it on the counter. I didnt have time to get a bowl I grabbed a spoon and hopped onto the countertop. Devouring that ice cream made me feel so much better. All I wanted to do was eat this ice cream. But its like God doesnt want me to relax. Because Jr walked in along with a girl. What? They smiled at me. 

"Hey you must be Mia" the girl said. She was about 5"4 and dark skinned. She had a meagan good haircut with her eye brow peirced. She was gorgeous but what the hell was she doing with Jr? Maybe she doenst know what hes capable off. "Yeah thats me" I shrugged while continuing to crush my ice cream. "My names Yasmine but you can call me Yas" she shrugged. "And your a friend of Jr's"I asked scooping a spoonful into my mouth. She started laughing. "No im his girlfriend".

I  almost choked on the ice cream. Girlfriend ? His girlfriend? "Your his girlfriend"? "Yeah Mia" Jr snapped. What's his problem? I ignored him and went upstairs. When I walked into the room , Ken was still sleep. I turned on the tv and Love and Hip Hop wa on , I watched it for awhile , laying on Kendricks chest. Shaking my head at Joseline and Stevie I had got a text from Jules. 

Jules; Go on the book right now , your gonna wanna see this. 

Me; See what? 

Jules; Just go on the book , its all over fb 

I went onto my facebook and the first thing I saw was a post from Chrissy. It was a video of a girl getting a train ran on her. I got another text from Jules. 

Jules; I know its gross lol but watch it , your not gonna believe who is in that video. 

I pressed play and couldnt belive my eyes. Chrissy , Toya and Camri were in a room with Tyler and a few other boys from our school. They were drinking and smoking. Laughing about something. Next thing you know , the guys started having sex with Toya. I turned the video off. 

The caption read:

"See y'all  thought this bitch was classy , look what she do on a daily basis".  

Why would Chrissy expose her? I'm so glad I am not her friend anymore. I wonder if she has any other dirt on me? Would if she re-uploads my video ? I texted Jules back.

"Oh my goodness! I wonder how Toya feels"  

Jules: Go read her status' she posted pictures of Camri also. 

I went on her profile , there were a lot of post that she was tagged in by other people that were making fun of her. I cant believe people can be so cruel. Kendrick sat up against my headboard , stretching. "Babe , you talk too much" he joked. I giggled , slapping his head.

"Why you got to put your hands on me lil girl" he rubbed his head. "Because I can,  and I am not little" I fake pouted. "Yeah yeah ,whatever crybaby " he joked. "We should go out tonight,  down to the Boardwalk or somewhere" I suggested sitting up. I sat down on top of his stomach."Alright,  we can go anywhere you want" he kissed sat up and kissed my forehead. 

We ended up stopping at Red Robin (my favorite restaurant) before going down to the board walk. There was a carnival and lord knows I love these types of things. I got Kendrick to win me a few stuffed animals and a goldfish. We were in line for a rollercoaster when someone called out kendricks name. We both turned around. It was a short lightskinned girl with red hair. She looked me up and down before speaking to Ken. "Please tell me this isn't the girl you left my bestfriend for? You can do better Ken" she laughed. I laughed too. "Whats funny" she asked me. 

"You,  you are what's funny.  Your pathetic for even coming over here" I laughed.

"Taylor just walk away" Ken sighed. "With pleasure,  and know that I will be telling Teyana about this" she walked away. Kendrick sighed.

"Mia,  Teyanna is my ex from high school. We broke up because I had gotten her pregnant. Once she had the baby I made her get a blood test just to be sure. I found out that it wasn't my child. I passed up scholarships for colleges to take care of them. Just to find out,  she had cheated on me with my cousin. Now I'm working at damn Wendy's only making 7.25 an hour".

"Ken it's okay. It's never too late to go to college. And if you haven't worked at Wendy's we wouldn't have met" I tried to cheer him up.

"Yeah your right babe" he kissed my cheek.

Me Ken and Jules were sitting in the  doctors office. Jules was making raps about people in the waiting room,  cracking me and Ken up. I love this girl.

"Mia Henderson? " Doctor Lewis called. I stood up grabbing my jacket. "You want me to go with you or Jules " Kendrick asked. 

"No,  Ken you go" Jules said.

"Mia how's your mother " Dr Lewis asked. "Shes fine". Dr.Lewis and my mom have been friends since middle school.

"That's good,  so you said that you took two pregnancy tests,  one was positive and the other... negative? " she asked looking through my paperwork.

"Yes" I replied.

"Okay , well I have your results back. You are not pregnant.  Sometimes these test can be wrong. I'm so glad you came in to check".

I sighed out loud. Thank you!

"Thanks so much,  Dr.Lewis " Kendrick said.

"Anytime! I'll just need you to come back in two weeks for another check up" she walked towards the door.

"Wait, Dr.Lewis is it okay if we keep this between us. I don't want to let my mom find out". "Mia you know I don't get down like that keeping things from your mother. But.. I will. Just promise to use protection ".

"Yes ma'am " I thanked her.
