Jacob Black walked out of his room and picked up an envelope. A blue sticky-note was on it.

 Jacob ripped the envelope apart and read the letter.

Dear former student(s),

  You have been asked to help students in the closet areas of Forks and La Push with their academic and emotinal issue in school. You will be counselors to the students. You will be assigned a group of students to watch over. You must tolerant, counsel, and protect them. In a way, you must be their friend. In the event something happens, you may be held responsible. You must understand that no matter how emotional the student can be, so put yourself in there shoes. We expect 100% care and emotion when you talk to them. Especially to girls.Please report to the school at 6:45 for a briefing from the counselor, Mrs. Inda. Please report promptly. We are so excited to have you!

           Jacob was not excited. He wanted to just blow it off, but he would at least give him something to do. Jacob didn't want to but, it would get Sam off his back.

Kenni Rivers ran downstairs. Her brother took a good look at her. He glared at her leather jacket, white tee shirt, grey skinny jeans and and grey Chuck Taylors.

"Oh come on. This is nothing inappopriate. And yes I did read the handbook." Kenni said.

Her brother Will stood up off the couch and sighed."Fine. You can go to school like that." he groaned.

She jumped and hugged him."Thank you." she squealed.

"Now look. I'll be at work at the dentist office. I'll try and get home early." he told her.

"No. Don't worry about me. Stay and get all the money you need to make." she said.

"I make 22 an hour. It'll be fine." Will said.

"Ugh! Fine." she said.

"Do you have your phone?" he asked.

"Yea. See you later." she said going out the door.

"You're walking!?" he asked sticcking his head out the door.

"Forks High School is only a quarter of a mile away." she said walking off.

She started walking towards the school. A red, old truck passed by her. It stopped ahead of her. Kenni jogged up to it.

"Problem?" Kenni asked.

"No. I was just wondering if you wanted a ride." the girl said.

"Well, no." Kenni said.

"Come on. It may rain soon. Might as well." she said.

"Ok fine." Kenni sad. She got in the truck and settled in the seat."What's your name?"

"Bella Swan." she said."You?"

"Kenni Rivers." she said.

"Cool. Just moved?" Bella said starting the girl.

"Yeah. My brother's job." Kenni explained. Bella pushed the car down to the school.

"What's your first class?" Bella asked.

"English." Kenni said.

"Ok. Well, if you have any questions just ask me."  Bella said getting out of the truck.
