Could you Stay Away From Me?!

Kenni came to school in her regular mid-bubbly mood. She was trying to put her weird dicussion with Jacob behind her. Kenni didn't like bad memories. She didn't have many, but they weren't welcoming to her. She wanted to talk to Jacob but didn't know what to say. Kenni would probably just stare at him if she ever saw him again. Kenni went to class with a wandering mind.

"Hey Kenni." Bella said sneaking into the back with her.

"Hi." she said.

"You talked to Jacob?" she said.

"Yeah..." she responded trailing off.

"Well?" Bella said trying to get an answer out of her.

"Bella, do you really care about Jacob?" she asked.

"Yeah. But wait..Why are we answering a question with a question? Kenni, what's going on.?" Bella asked.

Kenni opened her mouth. "Just asking" she said.

"Ok..Well, why did you need to talk to Jacob?" Bella asked.

"I need to...tell him something." Kenni said.

"Ok. What?" Bella asked.

"I don't feel like talking about...I have to get to class." Kenni said starting to walk off. Bella pulled her back.

"Why are you being shady?Tell me what's up" Bella ordered.

"It's none of your business." Kenni said.

"If it's my friends, I make it my business!" Bella said. Kenni pushed past her and went to class.

Bella shook her head. She was confused why her friends were acting weird. Jacob frowned at Kenni's name and Kenni would go into trances. She didn't know what was happening. Everything was going over her head. It was hard for her to figure things out. She couldn't put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Kenni came out the girls' washroom. She saw Jacob. He had his back turned to her. She quietly walked up to him.

"Hey" she said. He turned and gave her an irriated look.

"It still talks to me even when I told her we could never work out. I like the courage, but can't say I like you." Jacob said.

"Well, you don't have to for me to talk to you. I just wanted to...you know see you. If you were ok." Kenni said sweetly.

"Hmm. Well, I was peachy until you opened that hole in you face. Go back wherever you came from kid" Jacob ordered.

"Nah. I'm good. Besides, the period is almost over. I have lunch next. I've got plenty of time" Kenni told him.

"...I'll tell the prinicpal you're skipping. That leads to suspenison." Jacob teased.

"You won't do it. Bella told me, you're no snitch." Kenni said.

"That's because she's my friend. I'd never snitch on her. But, you....ha" he said huskily.

"Come on. You can't be that type of guy" Kenni laughed.

"Mmm." Jacob said starting towards the office. Kenni grabbed his arm. She pulled him back. Kenni struggled to pull him. She giggled as she pulled. Kenni stopped and went into a trance. She loved his warm cooper skin. Jacob didn't like that. She traced over his veins that bulged through his skin. Kenni pressed her lips together. She glanced up into his eyes. She saw they were angry.

"Get your damn hands off me, you whore." Jacob growled.

"I'm sorry" she chimed. Jacob shoved her."I didn't mean it"

"I don't care what you meant! I don't want you touching!" he scolded. She reached out an apologetic hand. Jacob slapped it and walked off. Kenni left at the bell.

Jacob went into the assisstant's lounge. On a black plate, were cookies. He glared at the tag.Ms.Ann's Pinapple Cookies. Jacob smirked. He loaded two into a napkin. He walked to the cafetria. He spotted Kenni in line. He hurried to her and tapped her on the shoulder. Kenni turned.

"Here. A peace offering. To say sorry" he said reaching out the napkin. Kenni took them. She gave him a silent smile. When she sat down, she started on the cookies first. She picked off small pieces, then the bites became larger. Kenni finished them and became sick. She turned pale.

"Kenni, are you ok?" Bella said.

Kenni's throat was tight. She was gasping.

"Kenni, where is your inhaler?" Bella demanded going through her bag. Kenni managed to shake her head. She bolted out the cafetria for the girls' room. She made it to the stall and let everything came out her mouth. Jacob laughed. Kenni came back out almost refresh. She saw Jacob. He kept laughing.

"What was in those cookies?" Kenni croaked.

"...Let's milk, sugar, pinapple." he laughed.

"PINAPPLE?! I'M ALLERGIC!!!" she said.

"That should teach you to stay  away from me!" Jacob laughed. Kenni gagged and ran back inside the restroom as Jacob laughed like a hyannea.
