*BZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZ*

"Ugh"

*BZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZ*

I sat up and hit the alarm.

How can it be 7 o'clock already?

"No, no." I layed back down on my pillow and mumbled.

This isn't even fair, why do I need to govto school this early?

I rolled back over and sighed. My ceiling is so plain. My fan was plain too. Everything was just plain. Well, probably because it's 7 o'clock on a Monday morning. I tossed my blanket and got up. I covered my face with my hands and slowly pulled my hands down. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. In the mirror I saw a brunette girl with brown tired eyes and a tired expression.

That's because you ARE tired.

I spit out the toothpaste, rinsed my brush then rinsed out my mouth. I went back across the hall to my room and opened my closet. I pulled down a red-washed button up shirt, got a pair of dark skinny jeans, took my black vans and picked up a white tank top. I checked out my window to make sure no one was outside so they couldn't see me. Of course, my neighbor was outside.

Cody Simpson.

The schools badass, manwhore, and annoying guy. That's him. I went in my closet and changed out of my pajamas and into my clothes. After I finished, I went to my make up stand and did my makeup and fixed my hair. Once I finished, I checked my phone and saw it was 7:32. I rolled my eyes, put my phone in my pocket then grabbed my lanyard. I quickly sprinted down the stairs to the living room, that was soulless. My parents were both at work. I continued out and unlocked my blue jeep. I started the care and pulled out when a black car almost hit me. I blared my horn and looked at the driver.

Cody.

He slid his sunglasses down a little and smirked, then drove off. What a jerk. And to think, him and I use to be best friends until the 7th grade. Our mom's worked together so it was just natural for us to be friends. I rolled my eyes and drove behind him to school. Of course Cody has his crappy music screaming from his car so I turned on my radio and had my windows up. But no matter what, I could still feel the bass.

I pulled into the school and parked in my assigned spot, in front of Cody.

"Cody!" A high pitched voice squealed.

"Someone stick a sock in her mouth please." I mumbled to myself. Kelly, the school slut, run up to Cody and shoved her tounge down his throat.

Good thing I didn't eat breakfast.

I got out of my car, grabbed my bag and locked my car. Can't trust people anymore.

"Hey Lea!" A voice I'd rather hear yelled. It was Amber, my red head best friend.

"Hey Ambs." I smiled and walked with her into the building.

"I wonder if either one of them have an STD yet?" Amber snickered about Cody and Kelly.

"Im surprised she's not pregnant yet." I laughed.

The school was packed, as always. There's just too many people.

"So what are you doing after school?" Amber asked.

"I have to go to the animal shelter." I said.

I volunteer 3 days a week at the local animal shelter for community service hours.

"Darn, I was going shopping later and I wanted you to come sovi was bored." Amber sighed.

"Sorry, but I've got cute little puppies to play with." I laughed. I loved volunteering there. I get to play with animals. Adorable, little animals.

I went to my locker and grabbed my Chemistry book and said goodbye to Amber. Of all classes that could start my morning, it had to be chemistry. Not something I actually like, like English or Reading. I must of been too busy daydreaming that I ran into someone.

"Watch it, princess."

"So-" I looked up and saw him. Seriously, why him. I just rolled my eyes and walked past Cody.

"An I'm sorry would suffice." He yelled as I kept walking.

"Jerk." I whispered as I walked into my class. I went to my assigned seat and settled in. There was a good amount of people in my class. I had a few acquaintances in there, but no one to have an actual conversation with. Where I sat was in the middle row, last seat. I could see everyone. The sleepers, the cheaters, the smart ones, the jocks, the quiet ones, and the trashy people. Of course that was Kelly and her friends. Kelly always thought she was everything, when in reality, she isn't. She brags all the time about every guy she sleeps with and how they do it. She had long blonde hair and cake face make up. No one really knows what she looks like without make up. She always wears shirts that are too small so she always shows cleavage and her tramp stamp of butterflies.

Very Original.

She has no butt so she's only top heavy. Then she wears short shorts or jeans that have holes from the thigh to her shin. Kelly is just the average high school slut.

The bell rang and the teacher came in.

"Okay class..."

"Do you ever think if these foods are agents of cancer?" Amber asked as we got in the lunch line.

"Wouldn't suprise me." I shrugged. I grabbed a tray and the cook slopped some food on my tray.

"Thanks." I smiled at her and went to our table.

"If this kills me, will you go to my funeral? " Amber asked as we sat down at the small round table. Amber poked at her food then shoved her tray to the side."Im definitely not eating that." She said.

I only took out my water bottle and drank from it.

"Hey Lea." A man voice called for me. I gave Amber a confused look before I slowly turned around. It was Tyler, the sport star.

Oh gosh, what does he want?

"What's up, Tyler?" I asked nicely. His table was right behind mine.

"I was wondering if you would like to come to a party this weekend?" He asked and flashed his signature smile.

"When is it?" I asked.

"This Friday night." He seemed happy I asked when.

"I don't know, I have dance class." I said.

" Well it starts at 7 and doesn't end until.. well, I don't know when." He said. He must really want me to go.

"Where at?" I asked.

" TJ's house." He smiled.

I looked at Amber who nodded.

"Can I bring a friend?" I asked Tyler.

"Absolutely. Bring whoever, just not the cops." He laughed and so did I.

"I don't know, I might." I smiled and turned back around. I looked at Amber who only looked shocked.

"What?" I asked, stuffing salad in my mouth.

"Most girls would die if Tyler Goodman asked them to a party."

"I'm probably not even going, Amber."

"And why?" She dropped her hands on the table.

"Because I have dance." I said.

"Lea, you need to have fun with people." Amber pointed at me.

"How is getting drunk and having sex fun?" I asked.

"Don't get drunk, just watch the drunks." She laughed. Then I saw her glance at Tyler's table. "And by the way, Tyler keeps looking at you." She added. I slowly turned and saw him. He looked away with a smile and so did I.

"So Lea, are you going to go to the party?" Amber asked with a smirk.

"After dance." I said.
