"And  that is imaginary numbers. "

*RIIIIINNNNNGGGGG*

"Don't forget to study for the quiz tomorrow!" Mr. Mitchell announced as the herd of students shuffled out.

Can I go home yet?

"Well hello, Princess." An obnoxious voice reached my ear.

Oh God.

"Go away, Simpson." I groaned.

"No can do, Princess. My next class is down here." Cody said. I wanted to just punch him. He has been bothering me since algebra.  Throwing paper in my hair, shaking my desk, sticking paper in my purse, everything.

"Then leave me alone." I snapped.

"Wow, feisty, aye?" Cody snickered. "I like girls who can fight back."

I could feel my anger boiling under my skin.

"Good." My bomb had exploded. I turned around kneed Cody right in the balls.

"OUH!" He dropped his books and held himself. He fell to his knees with his jaw dropped.

"Wow Simpson, that shouldn't hurt for girl like you." I made my comeback, turned around and marched right down the hall.

Honestly, Cody Simpson had changed since we we're friends. But everyone changes. Some change for the worst.

I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I left Cody. All of them had shocked faces.

"Hey Lea!" Cody yelled as soon as I reached the end of the hall. I rolled my eyes and turned towards him.

"What, Simpson?" I said fiercely.

"You would know what's in my pants." With his words, everyone 'oohhed'. Shots have been fired.

"Simpson, everyone knows what's in your pants because almost every girl has been in them. And let me tell you, two inches isn't a lot." I steamed and finally left the hall. I was done with Cody. Done. Absolutely done.

"Hey." A voice and body stopped me. My eyes

were watered with frustration as I looked up.

Tyler.

"Hey." I wiped my eyes.

"Are you okay?" He stared at me.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine." I lied and he knew.

"Lea, everyone knows when a girl has tears and she says she's fine, she really isn't." He looked at me.

"People are just assholes." I continued wiping my eyes. I hated it when I get mad and I begin to cry. I was mad, not sad.

"It's highschool, that's everyone for ya." He tried making me laugh. He succeeded. "Come on." Tyler wrapped an arm around my shoulder and walked with me. "So, who's the big asshole?" He asked.

"Cody Simpson." I said.

"Simpson? Cody Simpson?" Tyler asked.

"That's what I just said." I looked up at him. Tyler's jawline was grinding with anger. Actually, it was attractive. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"I've always hated Cody. But now that he has messed with YOU,  I'm gonna kill him." Immediately Tyler let me go and started towards where Cody was.

"Tyler, STOP!" I grabbed his hand and he turned to me. "Let's just go to lunch." I smiled a little,  trying to convince him.

Tyler looked at me and smiled in defeat. "Fine, but I AM going to kick his ass soon." Tyler said.

"It's fine, Tyler. Really, it-"

"No Lea, it's not. He's a dick and messed with the wrong person. But I am hungry so come on." Tyler kept a hold of my hand and walked with me to the cafeteria.

I swear my heart was out of my chest by now.
