Finally, I can go home. I grabbed my books and went to my locker.

"Hey, what are you doing after school? " Amber came up and asked.

"Haven't I already answered this question?" I asked.

"Yes but I was hoping for a different answer." Amber sighed.

"Sorry Charlie." I smiled. I pulled my lanyard out of pocket as I made my way out of the building. I walked to Amber to my car when I heard guys yelling my name.

"Hey Lea! Lea!" Different voices yelled. I looked over my shoulder and saw Tyler and his friends.

"Tyler loves you!" Mike yelled.

I saw Tyler's face turn red and he smacked Mike.

"Someone's crushing on you." Amber teased.

"Shut up." I fought a smile.

"TYLER LOVES LEA!" Eric yelled. I looked back and saw Mike and Eric laughing as Tyler also tried to hold back a smile.

"Well, I better go. I'll see you later." Amber said as she went to her car. I felt a little bit embarrassed, but a good cute embarrassed. I continued my way to my jeep.

"Hey Lea." I turned around and Saw Tyler. I had to admit, Tyler was sweet, cute and he was nice, well atleast to me and Amber.

"What's up? " I smiled.

"I -I want to apologize about the boys. They just like to tease people." Tyler said as he looked at the ground.

"It's all cool, Amber teases me all the time, I'm use to it." I laughed. Then there was an awkward silence.

"So, uhm, the party Friday,  I was wondering if I could pick you up?" Tyler grinned.

"Uh, I still don't know if-"

"It's cool. I understand." He nodded if a face of defeat.

"But, I could text you if I can go?" I suggested. Tyler looked up and smiled then frowned.

"But I don't have your number?" He said.

"Here." I took a pen out of my purse and grabbed his hand. His hand was bigger than mine but it was warm. I began to write my number on his hand then I put a smiley face.

"I better get going. I have to get to the animal shelter." I smiled and got into my car.

"I'll text you later." Tyler smiled widely. I started my car and looked up. When I did, I immediately looked eyes with the person in the car across from me.

Cody.

He had a smirk on his face and I could see him laugh as he stared at me. He pulled out and drove off. What the hell was that? I put my jeep in reverse and pulled out. I drove home with only the radio playing.

"Yeah the drums they swing low, and the trumpets they go DOO DO DOO DO!" I sang along. Personally, Jason Derulo is just amazing. I wouldn't mind Talking Dirty to him. Well, I don't talk dirty at all but still, he's amazing. I pulled up to my house and saw no one was still home. I was pulling in when Cody zoomed past me.

"I swear if he hits my jeep.." I said to myself. I was furious with him. I watched him get out of his car and so did I. I walked out to his yard as he was on his phone.

"Hey Cody." I spoke up. He looked up me with a suprised face.

"Could you do me a favor and watch when your driving? You've almost hit me twice today. " I said.

"Chill, princess. I almost hit you. I never did." He smirked as he continued walking.

"Princess? I am not a princess. " I stated when he walked on his porch and walked in his house.

Princess? How rude. I just rolled my eyes and made my way back home. I unlocked my door and threw my uniform on. Which was a pair of scrub pants and the animal shelter shirt. I threw my hair up, put my tennis shoes on and grabbed my jacket. I double checked to see if I had everything when my phone went off.

"Hey Lea. :)"

The text came from a unknown number.

"Who is this?" I replied.

"Tyler? Goodman? "

I totally forgot I gave him my number.

"Oh hey. Sorry bout that."

"Haha, it's all cool. :)"

I could feel a smile growing on my face. I grabbed my keys and headed back out to my jeep.

"So what are you doing tonight?" Tyler texted me.

"I'm volunteering at the animal shelter tonight." I replied.

"That's Funny." He text back. How was it funny?

"How is that funny?" I sent. I started the jeep and pulled out of my driveway. I ignored the text I got and continued driving. About 10 minutes later, I pulled up to the shelter when I saw a familiar car.

"Tyler? "
