~Inside the Justice Building~
Peacekeepers take me and Peeta to different rooms. I run my fingers through the sofa and cry. They can buy there selfs whatever they want. But while we starve they fill there tummies. And then they make us fight to death, I think to myself. The tears don't stop rolling down my cheeks.
I hear footsteps go close to me. They sound like 4 feet. It must be Mom and Katniss. The door opens and I see I was right. Mom and Katniss just hug me until Katniss breaks the hug. "Prim , listen to me ok." I nod cause I know she is talking serious.
"When , you get in there run the fastest you can." Katniss says.
"But..." I start
"No buts." She interrupts "If you don't want to die in the bloodbath, run to a different place. I know you are 12 but you have a chance of survival. Prim, I love you and always will. These games are just a thing you have to care about." She says. "Remember when games are meant to be fun. Forget that , now it's a game of life or death." She gives me a Mockingjay token "To Protect You."
I let more tears out cause everything she just told me feels like a stab in the heart. I can't win these games. The youngest was 14 and he got the most expensive gift anyone has ever gotten. I stare at Katniss and Mom and run into them for a hug.
"Prim , those healing hands will help you in the arena. If you get hurt , you might be able to save yourself." Mom says.
Peacekeepers come in and take them out. Katniss pleads for at least 1 more minute. They keep trying to get her out but it's hard. "Prim , We love you." Katniss's last words stick with me.
