Chapter 3

I go to room 224 with Ms.DeMartino for english. Im pretty excited for this new school. I walk into the room to see this group of girls laughing, flipping there hair, being fucking annoying. "Class we have a new student today. Give a big welcome to Lauren everyone" Ms.DeMartino said to everyone. I just smiled and sat in a seat in the back. As i walk back there a bunch of guys make comments and whistle. I usually don't care but i do. I am just thinking of Dante. 

RING RING

Dante walks in the room. "Late again Dante" Ms.DeMartino says. "Sorry. I had to go to my locker i couldn't go this morning" Dante said. "And why is that?" She asked. "Because he was helping me...he saw me having trouble with my locker so he helped me with that and where do find my classes" i said quickly. "Ok. Sit Dante" the teacher said. Dante sat in the back as well but a different row. We both smiled at each other but i broke the stare to copy down the notes. My phone vibrates and i take it out of my back pocket. Some number txted me that wasnt in my contacts. I unlock my phone and the txt said

Hey...its dante. I hope u dont mind but britney gave me your number....

Me: no its fine

Dante: oh ok. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me there. And also this gives me an excuse to talk to u

I feel my heart beating inside my chest. Why did Steven say stay away? Even if i could try he is just to hot to give up

Me: Aww well i mean i did see u this morning

Dante: Well yea I guess you could say that.

I start smiling but then quickly I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Lauren its your first day, so im going to let it slide. but no phone so just put it away" the teacher said. I nod and put my phone in my back and finish the notes. the rest of the day went ok. but Dante is in almost every single one of my classes. I finished the school day and started to walk home. I asked Steven if he wanted to walk home but he said he had a club after school so decided to walk home alone. I get home get home and decide to have a snack. I grab onion dip out of the fridge and go to the pantry and get some potato chips. I take my snack into the living room and turn on greys anatomy. I just finished season 10. I sit on my couch and start watching.

I here the door open and know its my mom. "Hi mom. How was ur first day at work?" I asked. "I think i should be asking you that" my mom said. I start to go up the stairs and tell her we will talk about it at dinner. We both agree on it. My mom made penne alla vodka with garlic bread for dinner. She tells me about her day and how her new job is being a fashion designer. I pretend to care. Then she asks me how mine was. I tell her about Steven and Britney. I don't tell her about Dante cause it isn't that important. We finish cleaning up from dinner and i go upstairs. I change into my pjs, brush my hair and put it in a bun, and brush my teeth. I turn on my tv and start to finish my episode of greys anatomy until i get tired. Around 11:30 i decide to go to sleep.
