Chapter 10

As i notice the guys aren't with us i am trying to run in the opposite direction as everyone else. Trying to find them. But build a bear wouldn't let me leave.  We all got shoved into the back room. And of course we are with screaming kids. Me Britney and Chloe start talking to the kids to calm them down. "Hi sweetie whats ur name?" I say choking back my tears. "My-my name--is...lizzy" the little girl says. "Hi lizzy I'm lauren. Are u here alone?" I ask. "I was with my mommy-she isnt here. I think she got pushed out of the store" lizzy says. We start talking and i check my phone. Its been 15 min. We start hearing banging on the door and screaming. Then 1 gunshot was fired. It sounded like someone was trying to get in. A tear slowly rushes down my face. The fact that it might have been someones loved one hear. I know it wasn't the boys. It sounded like a woman. "Ok guys. We have a door that leads to the back. We are gonna let 2 out at a time" one of the works whispers. Me, Britney, Chloe, and lizzy were in the back so we had to wait. Me and lizzy started to talk. I found out she was 8, only her mom was alive, and she had moms phone on her. "Lizzy can i see a picture of your mom?" I ask. I said ok and showed all of us a picture. "You have her eyes" i say. She smiles but i can tell she is trying not to cry. The line finally comes to us. Britney and Chloe go first. They stop mid way to the door. "Thats her mom lauren. The person that was trying to get it.." Britney mouths to me. I finally get that trough my head. As Britney and Chloe open the door i see Dante and them out side crying. He notices Britney and Britney explains everything to him.  Before me and lizzy walk to go out the door i put her in my right side cause i didn't want her seeing her mom. As we are midway to the door i froze. I noticed a man with a gun was outside the door. "Oh my god" i say. Lizzy looks out the door of build a bear to see her mom on the floor. "MOMMY!" She screams. The man quickly notices us. I decide to shove lizzy out side before i could get out. I hear a gunshot behind me and glass shatter. He is in the store. I start running towards the door. Another gun shot happens. Right after it happens i shut the door to the outside where everyone else was. I notice blood on the floor but not from everyone else. I look at my stomach and notice its from me. As the world starts to get blurry i fall to the floor

Dante's P.O.V
As lauren falls ti the floor i quickly catch her head. "LAUREN! SOMEONE GET HELP" i scream. Quickly a paramedic comes and puts her in an ambulance and takes her to the hospital. Everyone decides to follow the ambulance but i ride in it with her. "Your gonna be ok baby. I wont let u get hurt. Dont die on me" i say. Tears start rolling down my face. And thats when i realized. I need her to be ok. Not wont. I need her.
