Chapter 6: Jace

*[Chapter 6: Jace]*

"Hey, no free rides!" Danny yelled at me through the earpiece, making a sharp turn on the 5th floor.

"Just shut up and drive Michealis!" I yelled back, gripping tightly by the hood of his car. For all those Shadow Elementals reading this; NO TEXTING WHILE SHADOW DASHING. Especially when an 15 year old shell learning to drive is behind you. Shell are basically elementals with no magical blood in their family whatsoever.

"No one tells me to shut up!"

"SHUT UP!!!" We all yelled into the mic in perfect unison. I managed to jump off the car cause if I'm gonna be stuck on the roof of a car, It ain't gonna be Michealis'. I landed on another car roof.

"Fíjese por donde va! I'm driving here!" Ash argued after I landed on the right side of the right window. The twins, even worse. I jumped into another car with a sunroof. I was then introduced to someone banging on the car roof. I opened the sunroof and saw Noah behind the wheel with Nikki next to her.

"Jace, what are you doing on the car!?!"

"Just a little car hopping. Michealis crashed into me again."

"Just get in!!" Noah instructed. I hopped into the back seat. It had red Italian leather, it had USB, bluetooth, the works. I looked out the window,Bianca and my clones were enjoying themselves by beating Shapeshifters to death. Lucky bitch. I looked at Nikki, she was give a temporary sword to defend herself. I then looked at Noah, she was speeding faster till she braked. Nikki banged her head against the glass.

"Why'd you do that?" She groaned in pain, rubbing her bruise.

"When I say so, get out the car...." Noah said going backways. I usually don't question her (well, when she gives me "the look") so when she gave the signal I shadow dashed Nikki out. 5 seconds later it crashed into a wall. Little did I know it was a Shapeshifter that was in the engine. It was gonna blow up the car with us in it. Noah talked in the mic. "Shapeshifters from Nightmaren, knowing Amethyst she's going after Nikki. She's taking advantage of her being a late bloomer. I got an idea but it may involve us getting killed."

"When don't your plans involve us getting killed?" Bianca argued. Noah explained the plan and put Nikki in Celina and Airlene's car. Noah and I were gonna take our chances with the Shapeshifters on foot. She pulled out her bow and arrows. One thing about the Shadow Clan and Nightmaren. Shadow Clan thinks that any weapons that can used from a long distance is cowardice. Nightmaren begs to differ; as long as it hurts it doesn't matter how they die. Noah whistled, then shot her arrow into a Shapeshifter's ear. They growled and ran toward us as Zane rammed into them, allowing them to fall to their deaths as Nikki quickly switched into Zane's car. This continue for at least 30 minutes. It ended with one Shapeshifter trying to limp home. I decapitated him with my sword. Anyone got off the cars. Then I heard a slow clap, after a voice I knew all too well.

"Aunt Amethyst." Noah growled as she clenched her bow. Amethyst was the reason Noah was cursed with the Nightmaren curse, and that the dark clans where even at war in the first place. "What do we owe the pleasure?"

"I just wanted to see my half-niece." Amethyst paused, grabbing her chin, taking a good long look at her. "I was right, she is the daughter of the fool Aaron Kurayami. She has his eyes."

Amethyst threw her on the ground. "Don't you dare say a word against my father!" Nikki yelled.

"You mean you haven't told her Noana, she's your sister after all."

"Tell me what?"

"Our father isn't dead like the orphanage wanted you to think. He's alive, he's the councilman for Angels. He fell in love with my mom until he wasn't satisfied. He cheated on your mom and got both of our moms pregnancy. When the day we were both our father had a choice, save my mother or yours. He chose yours but by the time he got there it was too late. Your mom was dead, you were alive. At the time they thought I was dead with my mother. Our dad blamed you. He wanted nothing to do with you so he left you with Aenar and he left you where Amethyst couldn't find you." Noah admitted, holding back some tears. Nikki just stood there in shock. I barely remember what happened next, it happened so fast. Four of us, myself included got hurt attacking Amethyst. I got hit in the head and on my shoulder. Rakesh, Aenar's younger brother healed Zane, Ashlee, and Danny. I healed myself no problem.

I looked over and saw Kurenai and Zane talking to each other before kissing. Even someone emotionless as Denmark finds love with his polar opposite. Noah just stared at the window, knowing her she was probably thinking about her aunt and that pathetic excuse for a father. I got up and hugged her from behind. I didn't say anything, just hugged. She hugged me back. Then Rosethorne had to ruin the moment. She ran inside.

"Nikki is gone!"

"What? I've spent 4 years tracking her down. Have Bianca track her down, I don't want lose someone else care about."

"Bianca is gone too."
