(God! Lawlu) The God's Hunt

The Guests Arrive

Mt. Olympus was literally filled with cheer, since the last remaining inhabitant actually went through the trouble to liquify the stuff, it was a strange happening but not many questioned him with his peculiar fancies- especially since it made many happy, and all of it was from the one god that still called the place home, Monkey D. Luffy.

Luffy sprung up and down as he dashed around his marble and golden palace like an atomic ball of pure energy.

The truth was Luffy was almost never in his own territory, as the embodiment of freedom, he explored the entirety globe as he pleased without having to worry about intruding on other's plains, and he made friends with all those he came across.

Nami, one of his loyal hunting canines marched up to him and barked out excitedly, Luffy smiled when she told him how all the guests were heading towards the palace as they spoke.

In a burst of excitement, Luffy jumped off the top of the mountain and loudly rammed into the ground, making trees in the distance shake and birds fly off in a panic.

He took in a load of air and yelled at the top of his lungs, "YAAAHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

This truly was Luffy's favorite time of his very, very, long eternal life, when all of his siblings could get together and party the night away without any stress or worry in mind.

The citizens of the nearby villages smiled and cheered at the sound of their happy god, unlike some responsible gods, Luffy allowed mortals to see him anytime they wished, and he didn't bother to disguise himself when he was in among the human public, even if it did cause problems time to time, he never bothered to learn his lesson.

Luffy ran around the base of the mountain getting all the decorations in place as he imagined how much fun they were going to have, as he imagined seeing all of his guests, his thoughts suddenly crossed that new god he came across a few years ago and slowly froze up on the spot.

Luffy slowly put a light hand on his chest as he loudly sighed, everytime he thought about that man his heart would beat faster and his body would start to feel warm and squirmy, almost like a worm wiggling under the talons of a cardinal.

The boy didn't know exactly why but he wanted to be close to him...a lot, he was kinda different than the others, and something about that made Luffy attracted to the other, not to mention he felt bad at how lonely the guy must be all the time.

It was to say he was especially excited to see him again!

After finally putting the finishing touches on the streamers did the first guests arrive, "HAWKIE!!" Luffy ran up to the spooky voodoo man and gave him a huge bear hug, relishing in his spooky- if not creepy atmosphere.

Hawkins softly chuckled as he freed his arms from the youth's grasp and loosely hugged the other back, like a teacher with a beloved disciple.

"It is good to see you too young one" the hunter snuggled into his chest a bit more until he was roughly dragged into another's grasp.

"Heya Kiddy no time long see!!" Kidd was like that big cooler brother that would always play rough with you but always had your back, as Kidd gave Luffy a hard loving noogie to his head another figure arrived to the scene, "I think the saying is long time, no see"

Kidd scowled at the annoying short man as Luffy scrambled out of the redhead's powerful grasp, "EGGS!!" Just like with Hawkins, Luffy gave Bege a big lovable hug, only this time the other didn't respond- if the indifferent frown count as no response.

Still miffed at his terrible nickname, the god of business huffed and easily escaped the show of affection, "It's BEGE kid, not EGGS"

Kidd was just about to start a fight when the only female of the group rushed between them and gave Luffy a suprise tackle, "LUUUUFFFFFFFFYYYYY!!!!" Luffy hugged her back as they both fell over, this wasn't new to the others bu they still looked away in slight jealousy.

"Hey bonbon! Nice to see ya too!"

After finally tearing the emotional girl off of the teen, he was met with a hand to his shoulder.

Looking up Luffy grinned seeing his favorite 'cool nee-chans'.

"Dinosaur! Killey!" Luffy spun around and greeted the two with a big hug, Killer smiled from under his bangs and patted the younger on the head as Drake just rumbled in amusement, "hello again Luffy, glad you decided to invite us"

"Of course I would!" Luffy pouted at the thought of leaving them out, "you guys are all my very best friends!! Brothers treat each other nice!!" Without the child noticing the others turned away with a slight blush, the kid was too damn adorable and innocent.

Let's just say they all had a slight sibling complex since they all pretty much grew up together.

The silence was awkward until a familiar rambunctious god crashed the moment.

"KABANG SHEZOW! YO YO YO LUFFAAAYYY!!" The hunter's eyes lit up like a christmas tree as he rushed towards his other fun big brother, "SCRATCHY!" "Oh what am I chopped ambrosia?" Luffy skidded to a halt and noticed the bigger figure smiling behind the music god.

"ROGUE!!" The merryman laughed as he patted the boy's head.

"That's quite the unique nickname you've given me" he chuckled.

As Luffy was about to continue the conversation Kidd loudly sighed catching everyone's attention.

"Well that's everyone! Come on Strawhat let's get this show on the road!!" The redhead fist pumped the air as the majority of them cheered along, all excited to bring up the festivities.

Luffy blinked and shook his head, "whatcha guys talking about? There's one more person not here yet" Kidd paused in his fist bump as Bonney's eyes widened in shock, "you mean there's gonna be another god here this year?"

The boy nodded his head as Hawkins hummed in curiosity, "I heard rumors of an eleventh great god- supposedly older than all of us, but no one's ever seen him, rumor has it he spends most of his time on earth in the frozen artic, never getting any closer to see the rest of us, but I thought it was a myth since Eustass has never said anything about seeing him, and the artic is very close to your territory" the blonde mummered.

Bege glared at the blond and huffed, "time on earth? Where else does he go?" Killer yawned as he simply stated, "he supposedly rules the underworld" the god said.

Apoo choked on a high note as he tripped onto his back, "HE WHAT!?" Kidd shouted.

"Ya!!" Luffy cheered.

Drake sighed at the boys carelessness, "Luffy, you do realize he could kill you whenever he wants to down there, right?" Before the hunter could even utter a word out of his mouth, a familiar voice that sent a pleasurable chill down his spine filled the air.

"Mister Drake, never in all of my eternal life could I ever bring myself to hurt let alone, kill this innocent creature~"

The gods quickly turned around and were met with a slim figure in a giant winter coat, leaning on the nearby marble pillar with an icy stare that certainly mirrored the lands he wandered about so aimlessly.

He smirked as he stood up and calmly walked to the group without the slightest care, his eyes were trained only on Luffy's small form, predatory intent gleaming right through him.

"Hello siblings, nice to finally meet you all, I am indeed your older brother, and Luffy-ya it is nice to see you again~"
