(God! Lawlu) The God's Hunt

The Hunt Begins

Law stood next to Luffy and watched the others cheer in excitement, though he knew only little on what was actually happening, he just showed up for Luffy- if finally getting to meet his other siblings didn't act as a bonus.

"Luffy-ya" the hunter paused in gathering his pack of loyal canines and turned to the other with a beaming smile.

The boy giggled when his tiny puppy ran up to Law and barked in excitement, "yeah Traffy?..shishishi, Chopper likes you" Law smiled as he picked up the small dog spirit and carefully craddled it in his arms as he brought it over to Luffy, loving the feeling of something living in his arms, he occasionally cuddled few of the babies that would catch his eye time to time, but they couldn't give him that warmth.

"This is my first hunt, so I was wondering if I could get a little information on how this works?" As Chopper left Law's arms and scampered off, Luffy hummed in thought as he explained how it worked.

"Well...see, once everyone gets here, me and my friends let out our wild beast that's gonna be our prey, then once it disappears into the forest for a good time, I pair everyone up with a hunting dog..."

Luffy frowned as he furrowed his brows, "usually I head alone while my friends help the others since they're not that good at this, but since you're here now and it's your first time..."

Luffy's heart went faster knowing exactly what he had to do.

"You'll go with me..then everyone in their pairs, goes to catch the beast first like a race, the time limit is a week, after that if it wasn't caught by then we get no feast, but we still get to party of course"

During Luffy's explanation Law was zoning out, all he heard was 'you'll go with me...' those exact words loudly echoed in his mind as he felt a small nosebleed coming on, being all alone in a thick forest full of life, with the beautiful enigma that caught his undead heart...

Before any blood could trickle down his nose though, a bone chilling roar resounded through the clear area, effectively snapping his mind back to where it should be.

"RRRRRAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Law and the others froze in terror as a small bead of cold sweat went down the side of his head, "L-Luffy-ya what exactly is the hunt this year?"

The boy let out a huge grin as Zoro and Sanji dragged down a huge iron cage from the mountain, seemingly arguing and pulling it down with their jaws at the same time.

Law went pale and sweat dropped at the sight and swore this kid had to be insane, what he got from this was some kind of hunt for sport, but what Luffy apparently got was some kind of 'everyone for themselves death match hunger games!'

In the ginormous cage, WAS A FLIPPING DEMON BOAR KING!!

The wild beast was approximately twice the size of a truck and was a dirty white with small rocky spikes growing out of it's back, there was a thin wild mane of dark hair flowing behind it that reminded Law of dying seaweed, all with two long ass horns coming out of its snout with one broken off- no doubt lost to a fight from what had to be eons ago.

It's eyes were glowing red with rage and evil intentions as it snarled at the slightly startled group of gods, feeling their energy.

A tick mark appeared on Drake's head as he calmly hit Luffy upside the head like a mother would when her child misbehaved, "YOU IDIOT!" He yelled.

Bonney shrieked in terror as she choked the life out of Ussop in a scared death grip with anime tears streaming down her face, "AHHHHH!! SCARY!!!"
