Mike's POV: I woke up to the sun peaking up from the horizon of pines. I saw a shadow in the corner of the window and noticed it was Eleven. "Hey Eleven!" I said in a groggy voice, "What are you doing up so early?" She stood there motionless with her face pale. "Dream" she muttered so low I could barely hear what she said, "Bad dream." "It's okay Eleven it was only a nightmare. Do you mind if I ask what it was about?" She took a long pause then finally worded out with her mouth 'bad men'. "It's okay Eleven you are safe now. There is nothing to worry about. Dr. Brenner is in jail and they've shut down Hawkins Lab." I explained to her. Eleven turned to look out the landscape of green trees that made up my backyard. Her hair had grown in a bit and she didn't look so much like a boy anymore. She way more pretty and the small curly locks that made up her hair shimmered in the sunlight.
Eleven's POV: 'Bad men' I had murmured under my breath, 'They aren't gone yet. I know. Mike. Mike will protect me from the bad men. But last time he couldn't. I saved him. But he never thanked me.' Tears start to roll down my face as I stare at the sun slowly coming up. I love Mike more than anyone and it's more than just a friend. But I could never tell him.
