Chapter 2

I sat there questioning their looks. I finally had asked, "Why are you two giving me such weird and unusual looks?" Sammie took my hand in her hands, and looked at me. As she did so she said, "We have a very big surprise for you." I said, "Well what is it??" Brianna looked at me and whispered, "You won the contest." I was now even more confused than I had been before. So I said, "You two have done it again, I hadn't got the slightest idea of what the hell you guys are trying to tell me." Brianna says, "Well, a few weeks ago when you had been working late, we were at my house, and saw a contest for the Ghost Adventures. So we decided to enter you in it, for a birthday surprise." I looked at her as if she just told me she had killed someone and needed help hiding the body. So I said, "So what you're telling me is that I won a contest to go with the Ghost Adventures crew, on a lockdown?" Sammie had the biggest smile on her face and screamed, "YES!!" I jumped so high off of my couch. I was so happy and excited. I thanked them over, and over, and over again. I just never thought I'd ever be able to meet them.... Ever! And now I get this wonderful chance thanks to my wonderful friends.

    So the next day, I had gone to work and after work, I had gone home. Sammie and Brianna had told me that the letter of information would be at my house. I got home and found a huge brown folder in my small mailbox. It had been bent from being shoved into the tiny hole. I hurried through my apartment building to get to my apartment. I had a medium sized home. It wasn't big and fancy, but it was perfect for me. I loved where I lived. So I finally reached my home, unlocked the double locks, and opened the door. I had walked into a semi-messy living room. I closed and locked the door behind myself, and had sat down on my black couch, took my shoes off & turned on my tv. I had sat the envelope on my small coffee table, which sat in front of my couch. So I picked up the letter with the information inside. I opened it to find a paper that said,

     "Congratulations, for winning this chance to hang out with us, the Ghost Adventures Crew. We are glad you won and can't wait to see you. You have been given a plane ticket to travel with us, $2,000 in spending money, and the date for the trip, which is on January 20th of 2014. We will meet you at the airport and fly with you to our destination for our lockdown. The time to be at the airport is 1:15pm. That's all the information that's needed. Hope to see you very soon :)"

  And at that I was in tears and so excited. I had about a week to pack and didn't know what to do with myself. I quickly got my things gathered, checking twice to make sure I had everything I needed for the trip. I was so pumped!
