Chapter 9

**FLASHBACK**

Lizzie's P.O.V

I had finally finished getting ready for brunch. As I left my room, I took my key with me, as well as my phone.

I was walking to the elevators. I pushed the button to go to eat some brunch. I know a little too fancy, right?  I wanted to show Zak what I'm made of.

All that kept running through my mind was, "Please,  whatever you do, do NOT fall!"

The doors opened...

I was nervous, but I started walking and was fine. I had looked around for the 3 Stoogies. FOUND'EM! Haha. I slowly walked over. Also noticing that Nick's jaw dropped and a pointing finger. Was he pointing at me? Well, I got my answer as soon as those cold, hard, blue eyes were looking at me. I bit my lip so I didn't show a smile.

FINALLY... I made it to the table, oh lord these heels...! Ugh! My feet were killing me.

Anyways, Aaron was at the table about to leave, but he looked at me, smiled, I smiled. Then he was gone. Usual Aaron... always hungry and ready to eat. Nick had a blank expression while looking at me, I just smiled. But when I dared myself to look at HIM, it made my heart melt; I felt my cheeks heat up and I gave him a shy smile.

Nick finally got up after Zak mumbled something in his ear. We were alone... Together....

I acted like he wasn't there. So I started playing with my phone. I noticed him staring as if he were trying to get my attention. But I chose to have not seen him. Which he decided to get my attention by talking. I tried to ignore him, but his voice made me weak at the knees. I couldn't help but feel butterflies. So I finally gave in and looked at him.

He said, "Aren't you going to eat or just sit there and looked lost?"

I will admit it, he had startled me a bit. I looked at him and said, "Actually Mr. Bagans I'd like to go back to our room & watch a few films."

He gave me that signature look of his & asked if he could join me. And I wasn't the slightest bit of hesitant about it. So we got up from the table.

He shouted to Nick who was still deciding on what to get, and Aaron who was stuffing his face still, that we were gonna watch a few films and that we'd be back later.

We got a thumbs up from Aaron and a nod from Nick as he was too distracted to care.

And we were off to the elevator.

**END OF FLASHBACK**

It was silent. There was tension. He didn't say a word, nor did I. I was thinking about how to start a conversation, if only I knew what was on his mind. It'd be so much easier to start a conversation.

We finally made it to our floor,  THANK GOD, I think I would have died if it took any longer to get there. He was being nice and held the elevator door for me and walked out of it after me.

We got to the door and I slipped the key into it and it had opened, I walked in and took those feet killers off and no sooner had I done that, Zak was all over me.

I smiled. I couldn't help it. He held me in his arms and kept giving me light, sweet kisses along my neck. I almost moaned at the pleasure it was bringing to me, but I stopped myself. I had to contain these feelings I had. I was not gonna let him use me and get what he wants and then throw me to the side. We needed to talk, no we HAD to talk. So I did what any girl didn't want to do when they were being treated like this with him, I walked away from his embrace & sat down on the bed. He just stood there astounded.

I thought, yeah that's right, I walked away whatcha gonna do about it. And as soon as that thought was processed, he had strided over to me, and captured my lips with his soft, plump, pink lips. I had to push him away, as much as I didn't want to, I had to. He looked at me like I was crazy. Still nothing was said between us.

I tried starting a conversation but every time I would go to speak, nothing would come out so I would have to close my mouth once again. I didn't know what to do or where to start. Soo we sat there, in silence.
