Creds to artist! ^^
"Huh?" Adrien looked at the small pin hanging out of his jacket pocket. Taking it out, he examined it and found it in good shape. His father had gave this to him after he won a ballet competition somewhere else. "Hey, buddy."
The boy crouched down, petting the small black cat that was shivering in the cold. He smiled sympathetically, scratching the back of it's ear. "I'm sure Marinette won't mind company."
Plagg was Adrien's cat. Surprisingly, Gabriel allowed him since he was always busy and figured the boy needed someone to play with. Plagg had green eyes and black fur. He would always complain for Camembert which annoyed Adrien.
Opening the bakery door, he took a peek inside to see Marinette dancing her routine with a ladybug on her finger. "It's glad to see you again, Tikki!" She giggled at the small ladybug on her finger.
You see, Marinette always loved ladybugs. She was one to believe ladybugs were good luck. But she also believed that black cats were unlucky. She always stayed away from them especially in the winter time.
"My father won't be here for another hour or so..." He piped up, smirking when the bluenette fell on her butt. She glared at him playfully, extending her hand for him to grab. "Oh, no problem! Would you like a croissant? Maybe a macaroon?" She rambled on, hurrying to the counter.
Adrien chuckled, shaking his head. "No thanks. I'm supposed to lay off the sweets." He told her, patting his stomach. Marinette rolled her eyes and leaned closer to Adrien. "So, what exactly brought you here?" She asked out of curiosity.
Adrien shrugged, taking a glance at the cinnamon roll that was screaming his name. A cinnamon roll couldn't hurt, could it? Nah, it wouldn't. He took the cinnamon roll, licking his lips before taking a bit out of it.
He closed his eyes and savoured the sweet taste of the cinnamon. It had been such a long time since he tasted something so sweet. His mother was a good cook and would cook him his favourite dessert. Cinnamon rolls.
"Um, cinnamon roll?" She waved her hand in front of his face, seeing the goofy smile plastered on his. "Huh? Hey! What's up with cinnamon roll?" She laughed, pointing at the small bits of cinnamon surrounding his mouth. "That's why."
"Well then, I should call you ballerina." She gasped and slapped his face playfully, scrunching her nose. "Oh please, ballerina? I thought you would think of something more sweet, cinnamon roll." This was a side that was new to Adrien. Sassy and confident Marinette was fun and all, but he liked kind and shy Marinette better.
The two were having so much fun smack talking each other they didn't notice Sabine and Tom sitting down at a nearby booth. "Welcome, Adrien!" Adrien jumped up and turned around. "H-Hi... Mrs. Dupain-Cheng."
"Please! Just call me Sabine." The entrance door opened to reveal Gabriel Agreste in his beautiful new designer jacket. "Adrien? Is this the- Sabine?!" Sabine wrapped her arms around the man, smiling. "Gabe! What a coincidence!"
Adrien.exe has stopped working.
Marinette.exe has stopped working.
They knew each other. Their parents knew each other! Maybe they had some sort of connection! "Ah, Sabine is that the Gabriel you were talking about?" Tom interrupted their hug, snaking his giant arms around Sabine.
