The dawn of tomorrow kills me.  School. Yea, they made us move in on a Sunday. Sighing, I slide off the bed. I grab some clothes, and walk to the bathroom. Husky fixed the water, Fluffy repaired my bike. I take my Pj's off and turn on the water. I turn it to a nice temperature, and step in. The water soothes my skin, and causes me to cringe in pain as the water reaches my arrow cuts. Slowly I grab my bar of soap and rub it on my cuts. I don't cringe as much as the first time I did it., but I still do. Slowly, I reach for the shampoo Fluffy bought. I pour it on my head. I use my hoofs to rub it from my head across my whole body. I let the shower wash it away.  When my showers done, I shake myself and put on my clothes. I tie my bandanna onto my head, and walk out. Fluffy is up and cooking breakfast. I can tell it is pancakes. Husky is up and is reading a textbook. I decide that is a good idea. I grab one on math, my worst subject and read. It is 5:36, and school starts at 8.

"The area of the triangle is best found by making the triangle into a square, then divide that area by two." I read out loud. "I learned this in like third, why are they learning it now?" Husky shrugs.

"Pancakes! I hear Fluffy call, "Come and get 'em hot!" I set the book down and walk over to him. "Cowey, yours has carrots in them.. Husky's has chocolate chips, and Mine has FISH!" Laughing, I grab my plate and walk to my bed. I set the plate down, and grab my bag. Inside is my student ID, A few notebooks,  and a some spare bandannas. I sit down and start eating my pancakes. I enjoy the extra boost of flavor the pancakes have,  due to the crunchy veggies in them. When I finish,I set the plate on my bedside table and get up to grab the textbooks. I grab each one of each subject and drop them in my bag. Slipping it on, I walk out for my bike. Husky is already out there. I hear the the door close behind me as Jerome walks out. I had painted my bike a sleek red, Husky's a blue, and Jerome picked black. I got on my bike and started in the direction towards school. Husky came next, Jerome took uo the rear. The ride there was bumpy, and we were insulted. I cringed at some of the things they screamed at us. I parked my bike outside and locked with a lock that respond to my hoof. I had bought the others the same kind of lock.

The walk inside was brutal. We had all sticked together. We were shoulder to shoulder. I was in the middle, Jerome and Husky on the ends. "You'll all wild animals!" "You won't make it through the first day!" "You are all a pile of Cowcrap!" I closed my eyes into slits, but kept walking. We opened the doors and gasped at what we saw.  Father Notch himself was here to escort us to class. We all simply bowed in shock.

"Cowey, Jerome, and Quentin." He said, holding his hand out.

"F-F-Father Notch.." I said as I shook his hand.

"W-What an honor to meet you.." Fluffy gasped.

Quentin just stared. "I'm here to talk to you. Cowey, you will be attending Ms. Carolan's Math class first," He says looking at me, "Jerome and Quentin, you have Mrs. Deb's PE class. I'm sorry. I couldn't get all of you in the same class."

"It's fine.." I sigh, "There's always lunch.. right?" An awkward silence filled the air. I bit my lip.

"Anyways, Cowey here is your first class." Father Notch says. I hug Husky and Fluffy.

"Hey, I'll see you later guys." I whisper. Waving goodbye I step into the classroom. The teacher glares at me.

"Adam!" She calls, I look over and see a boy my age with sunglasses on his face, around his neck an amulet is at its place. His clothes remind me of armour.

"Adam, You will be this... new students guide. Deadlox, move up here next to Bodil." I hear a groan as he grabs his stuff, and moves next to another kid in sunglasses. "You may sit next to Adam." I walk across the room and sit down. I feel a kick to the shin and I bit my lip so hard blood comes out.

"I want you here to treat the new student with respect. I will not tolerate any bullying." Then she turns around and starts talking about the units of a square.

"Whats your name?" He asks, shoving elbow into my bicep.

"C-Cowey." I stutter, looking down at my hooves. Great, here comes the teasing. I think, bracing myself.

"Okay Cowey, Lets set some ground rules." 'Adam' Says.

"You will not sit near me next class, Stay the fuck out of my way during PE, and make sure you can keep up. You being a cow and all, I guess I should bring wheat."

I hear laughing and decide that joke is way to overused. "Well, eeeexcuse me. Maybe I should bring french fries. Might make you humans run faster."I feel stares fall onto me. The kid next to Adam whispers to him, and he responeds.

"Ahh.. Someone likes standing up for themselves. You must be a boy then, welcome to the Stitch." he says holding out his hand.

"Adam, I'm a girl."

"What?"

"I'm. A. Girl." I huff. "How stereotypical." I grab a notebook and start writing notes. I look up gratefully as the bell rings and I shove everything into my backpack.

I get up and turn around when someone touches my shoulder. I see the guy who sits next to Adam standing there.

"PE is this way," Is all he says before running off.
