Chapter 8: The Return

I had never seen Ariana more shocked in my life.

She said" Oh my God why didn't you tell me?" I said" Because I thought that you would think I was a freak"
She said" baby come here".

As I walked over she lifted up my chin and gently brushed her soft hand upon my cheek and said" I could never think your a freak no matter who you choose to be I'll never leave you" I said" Are you sure?" She said" Of course".

I then pulled her closer and gently pressed my lips against hers and started to change but I shut the door and Ariana said" Wait leave it open don't be ashamed" I gulped and took off my shirt and she examined my muscles and noticed the stitches around my chest and gently placed her hand upon my chest.

She said" Your amazingly handsome just the way you are don't worry about stitches they don't bother me nothing about you bothers me Kaley".

I said" That means so much coming from such a beautiful woman inside and out like you" she blushed and said" strip down to your boxers who says we can't sleep naked for a night".

I said" wait we?" She then took off her shirt down to her bra and slipped her sweatpants off with some lace panties that matched her bra.

I was stunned she then made her way to the bathroom and began taking her makeup off and I could tell she was a little insecure without it and she then started to brush her teeth and wash her face and as she made her way to the bed I said" Wow".

She said" What?" I said" Your so beautiful" she started to shed some tears as we gazed and I picked her up and gently laid her on the bed and tucked her in.

Right before she fell asleep she said" Can I cuddle with you?" I said" Of course" she then laid her head on my bare chest as I held onto her and pulled her close we both fell asleep.

The next day, I woke up to the sound of Frankies voice he said" Kaley! Ariana! Wake up! Breakfast is ready!" I finally opened my eyes and Ariana was looking in the mirror getting dressed and she smiled as she noticed me watching her.

I got up and wrapped my arms around her and said" good morning my love" as I kissed her neck.

She blushed and said" good morning baby I'm gonna put my makeup and get ready for the day because Sarah called and her and Nick are gonna join us for breakfast so they should be here any minute" I said" Ok I'll go ahead and get ready too".

When we both got finished getting ready I kissed her and we held hands as we walked down into the dining room.

Frankie served us our food and the doorbell rang I said" I'll get it" and ran to the door it was Sarah and Nick. I said" Hey guys nice to see you come on in!"

They walked in and Sarah hugged Ariana while Nick shook my hand and we all sat down starting to eat and Frankie said" So Kaley is Sarah your best friend?" I said" She sure is we've been friends for a long time" he said" Nice so Nick is your boyfriend right?" Sarah said" He sure is he's all mine" they kissed.

Nick asked" So Frankie you have a boyfriend?" He said" Oh no I usually just do my online show Style Code Live and go to some of Arianas events and I'm always with Jon Erik" Ariana said" Jon is hilarious him and Frankies friendship goes together like glue" he said" Yeah that is true".

Sarah said" Well the food was delicious great job Frankie" he said" oh please" Once everyone was done eating we decided to pick some champagne and chill out by the pool.

Ariana got into her bikini and Sarah did as well while me and Nick were in our swim trunks.

Nick jumped into the water with Sarah and they had a blast they played beach ball together he carried her all around and kissed.

Meanwhile, Frankie had left to to do his show while I sat down staring at Ariana while she was tanning. She was staring at me too and when she got up I snuck up behind her and threw her into the pool with me.

We both laughed together and she said" I'm so glad I found you" I said" believe me I've never been happier in my life" she smiled and we kissed.

Sarah and Nick got out to dry off because it was starting to get late we had been in the pool for hours by now and Sarah said" I guess we could sleep over if that's ok with you Ariana?" She said" Yes of course".

As I made my way inside to change Ariana said" Wait baby can we spend a few more minutes out here?" I said" Sure" She took my hand and said" I wanna show you something" we made our way to the front yard where the big water fountain was and she had a short cut to her balcony and we made our way up there.

She was covering my eyes the whole time and she said" Ok open" I opened my eyes and the sunset was amazing I said" This is a dream come true" she said" the sunset?" I said" Being here with you" she couldn't help but grab me and kiss me as I had my hands around her waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck and I picked her up again and we walked into the house.

Sarah said" Hey woahhh" we stopped kissing and Ariana said" Sorry Sarah haha we had a moment" she said" It's ok I see and I totally ship it!" We both smiled.

When the sun had finally gone completely down we were all laid back on the couch when there was a knock on the door.

I got really suspicious and said" I'll get it please stay back" I snuck up to the door and Arianas heart was racing when I opened it was Mac Miller.

He said" I'm back!" And as soon as I went to punch him he ran over to Ariana and held a gun to her head Sarah and Nick held their hands up and did everything they could to prevent from panicking.

I said" Ok look man you don't wanna do that ok this is not her fault" he said" You know when I beat you that day I wanted to beat you to death but sense your still breathing I think it would really kill you if she wasn't".

Ariana was in tears begging me to help her so I thought of a plan to distract him long enough for me to beat him and someone call the police.

I said" I'll do anything just please don't hurt her" he laughed and said" don't you get it I don't care all she was to me anyway was a piece of ass" I sneered at him and made a signal to Sarah so she would distract him.

She yelled" Mac if you want a piece of ass come after me" he looked over at her and put the gun down from Arianas head and said" sounds fair" as the gun was down I slid on the floor and grabbed it from him and yelled" ARIANA! SARAH! RUN!!!" They both ran to the kitchen and hid behind the counter.

I said" PUT YOUR HANDS UP! PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS UP!!" He laughed and said" you fool you really think there's bullets in there?" I pulled the trigger and there was nothing so I dropped it and punched him with all I had in me and I flashbacked to when he beat me.

I then got the gun and pistol whipped him and kicked and punched him as hard as I possibly could and got blood all over my hands he was unconscious when the cops finally arrived.

They handcuffed him and put him into the police car and Ariana ran into my arms and cried she said" Oh my god are you ok did he hurt you?" I said" I'm ok I would do anything to keep you safe" and we kissed.

Sarah got up and wouldn't let go of Nick and said" I'm so glad your ok good plan though any fuckboy like that would do anything for attention" I said" I know that's right".

One of the officers approached me and said" Are you Kaley Sheats?" I said" yes why?" He said" It's Danny Lopez your step brother how long has it been Kaley?" I said" Dlo! No way I've missed you brother how's Zendaya and the kids?" He said" Better than ever I see your finally with Ariana I'm so proud of you Kaley".

Ariana said" Who is this?" I said" Oh babe this is my step brother Danny" he said" Nice to finally meet you" she said" You too" Sarah said" Nice to see you again Danny" he said" You too Sarah" I said" So you are aware this was self defense right?" He said" Oh yeah we've been trying to track him ever sense he jumped you the first time trust me we know what's up" I said" thank god well it was nice seeing you Danny" he said" you too guys have a safe night".
