I whispered to you on a cold rainy night,"Don't go."
But there you left me staring at your back as you walked away.
Not a night passes where I wonder where you are. I know you don't think about me. Even though I cared. Apparently you didn't.
I still have your sweater you gave me on the first night we met. You asked,"Are you cold?" I said"No."
You gave me your sweater anyways.
I stopped trying to hold on to you so I gave the sweater away and donated the other things you gave me.
As years went on I had finally gotten over you. I was back to my old self, the one you helped to bring back.
On a cold rainy night you left me crying on my knees saying, "Please don't go." And now that you've returned you're asking for second chances and I simply say, "You've had your chance I said don't go, and you left anyways, sorry but this is the end of the line."
You had tears in your eyes this time, and you were the one asking me stay. "I loved you once upon time but I must bid you farewell until next time."
