How can such simple words mean so much? Love, Trust, and Promise. Those are words we use everday, but do we really know what they mean?
To me LOVE is when you can tell someone everything. You know just by looking at that person how they feel. You can break down the barriers they put around themselves. LOVE is something earned not given. So, in order to have love you must first have TRUST.
TRUST is being able to tell someone even your deepest, darkest secrets. TRUST is what we give to people who we just know won't hurt us. Once you lose someone's TRUST it's harder to get back the second time around than it was the first.
PROMISE. Promises are made every single day. Only make a PROMISE if you are able and willing to keep it. PROMISE comes along with TRUST. You must first TRUST then PROMISE, if anything once a promise is broken there is no going back and changing it. You live with the mistake you made and don't blame it on the next person. Just be completely real with yourself.
Most people will never be able to do any of those things,at least not right anyway. They won't be able to do so because they simply don't want to be responsible is they made the wrong decision to TRUST, LOVE, and PROMISE.
You must first LOVE and TRUST yourself before you PROMISE to LOVE and TRUST someone else.
