Whom To Accuse ?

★ JESSICA'S POV

When we read that note, we were all so shocked that we couldn't even move for a few seconds. But then Dylan said that we must all go and check what happened to Edward. And so all were on our way to the garden to find Edward.

I was really praying that Edward be alright and wished that this all was just a prank or something.

I didn't realize that I was not moving until Daniel came by my side and hugged me. He whispered 'Everything will be alright' and gave me a kiss on my forehead and I hugged him back.

I have no idea why, but Daniel really calms me down and I actually believed him and then interlocked our fingers and started moving.

When we reached the garden, I realized that everyone was already there, but I was not able to spot Edward, well until I heard his angry comments.

"Hey, lemme help you. You are really wounded badly." I heard Mia say.

"Just back off you people, I can very well take care of myself and don't need you guys to do that." He said in angry tone.

"But we just want to help. Your leg is bleeding and it looks real bad." Damien said.

"Yaa, whatever, it's not much. And I am well fit to med myself." He said.

"But how did this happen ? Did someone intentionally do that to you ? Did you see anyone ?" Justin asked.

"I don't know that myself. I was just jogging around here, and suddenly I was on the ground with blood on my leg. I don't know if it was because of me or someone did that." He said, for once no anger in his voice.

"Anyways not that I care. I am off to sleep." He said and went away.

"Well, do you think that note was just some prank or did someone really pushed him ?" Caroline asked.

"I think it was a prank. I mean, Edward said that he might have fallen because of himself. And hearing that from him we should clear our doubts. I mean he didn't blame anyone and that coming from him is something." Dylan said.

"That's true. It shocking that he didn't blame us for that." Daniel said.

"Okay so with that said, we should also get some sleep. The competition starts tomorrow. Good night guys." Anna said and everyone agreed.

All decided that we should sleep in separate rooms and I didn't have any problem with that. So everyone went to their rooms to doze off.

"What the hell is that sound ? It was so irritating to the hears. I hope my eardrums are still safe, I don't want to get deaf here, on the second day itself." I said aloud.

"Yaa girl, I can understand." Someone said.

I was shocked to hear that because last I know, we were sleeping in separate rooms. So I opened my eyes to see Mia sleeping on the bed next to mine.

"What are you doing here ? We were sleeping in different rooms last night, then how come you are here ?" I asked.

"Actually you left your door unlocked last night. I was not falling asleep so I decided to check on others when I found that your door is unlocked and I thought that it might be risky to let you sleep in unlocked room, so I moved here for the night." Mia said.

"Mia ! That is so nice of you. And thank you so much for caring. You are so sweet." I said and hugged her.

"Okay girl, it was not something so huge, so stop acting like I just saved your life, and I really can't breathe." She said and I pulled away and she starting laughing and I joined her.
