Budo's POV
Man, why does Taro have to ruin everything? I almost had her! Then again, he knows all of my weaknesses, so I have to be careful...
I bumped into Ayano while I was heading for Science...dumb move. She seemed sadder than usual. Should I ask her about it? I mean, I am her friend if nothing else...ah what the heck.
B: you ok Aya-chan?
Y: n-no. c-can you and Taro meet me after school? I-i need to tell you both something...
B: *sighs* ok. I'll ask him. Do you need anything?
Y: n-no. thanks.
Ok. If that wasn't weird, I don't know what is. Normally, Aya-chan is lively and spunky. In fact, yesterday she was playing a prank on Pippi and Ryuto in the gaming club. She rigged the chairs so that when she pulled a string, their chairs would slam into each other. She claimed it was "cute" because they liked each other although neither of them knows about it. I'll admit, it was pretty clever, but playing matchmaker isn't one of my interests. Aya-chan says she helped Kokona-chan and Riku get together...but i'm not so sure about that. I'm pretty sure she just brainwashed Kokona...
Anyways, I asked Taro to meet me and Yan-chan after school. He looked like he could care less about what I had to say, but when I said "yan-chan wants to meet us after school" he perked up and stood up straight. Almost like a soldier. Maybe he really does like her...no. He only agreed to date her on a dare. He couldn't really like her...Could he?
