Ayano's POV
I can't believe I just did that. But, then again, I kinda had to. Those two were fighting like cats and dogs over me....and it is flattering really....but I just got really tired of their fighting! Weren't they friends at one point? Because they sure aren't acting like it.
When Budo came up to me the next morning, I was the least bit surprised. I knew they would be sucking up to me for the next few weeks.
B: hey yan-ch...I mean Ayano!
Y: um...hey. Aren't you supposed to be at the martial arts club?
B: oh I cancelled it. In fact, I cancelled it for the rest of the week.
Y: Oh...*looks sad and starts walking*
B: Wait! Are you ok?
Y: Yeah...I was just looking forward to martial arts club....
B: Oh...well I can give you private lessons if you want. I-i mean, because everyone else made plans because I told them there was no club this week....
Then Taro came running up to us. GREAT. This is just what I need. I thought I told them to keep the competition AWAY from me.
T: I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING BUDO!!!
B: And what would that be?
Y: GUYS QUIT! I thought I told you to keep the competition AWAY from me?
Guys: sorry.....
As I walked to my first hour I couldn't help but think i'd made a mistake doing this whole "competition." I mean, they were BEST FRIENDS. And why was I being so self-centered? Am I really that shallow? Maybe I should call the whole thing off. I'm not going to break friends apart....am I?
