"The day began normal. Scotty and I were in the airport terminal, waiting for the speakers to call out our flight. I had been enjoying a delicious banana nut muffin, with sugar sprinkled atop it when we boarded the plane. The flight was pleasant, or at least as pleasant as a flight can be when flying economy. And then the real trouble began.
'All passengers aboard this plane, this is your new captain speaking.' The voice was filled with malice, and it seemed as though the owner of said voice was sneering. 'Please give my men any and all your valuables. Only then will I safely land your plane.'
Four men and women, eight in all, exited from the pilot's cabin, all brandishing knives and longswords. Young children begin their screaming, and mothers frantically try to silence their brood while removing their jewelry. Anger boiled within me, and hardened my iron will. I reached into the pocket of my carry-on purse, and pulled out the pocketknife I had received as a gift just a few months prior. When one of the hijackers walked by, and held out her hand for valuables, I feint handing her my knife. At the last possible second, I flip the blade out, and drive it— "
"Michelle!"
"Yeah Scotty?"
"What are you talking about?"
"You know... our flight?"
"We haven't even left yet!"
"So?"
"So!? How can you be telling them about our flight if we haven't even left yet?"
"Psychic powers."
"Exact—What? No! Michelle, just stop whatever it is you're doing! Come on, we've gotta go, or we'll miss our actual flight!"
"Fine... but you can't stop me!"
