4.Destiny's Ambush

After almost a month, Laura put her uniform back on and went to work;Dani once more, helped her and arranged an entire day Welcome Party.

Laura parked,took her hat and passed Station's door.She salute Jill and walked into the office.Everyone who was there started to scream "Welcome Back Hollis" Laura jumped from scared and became one with the wall and her facial expression was priceless.

Dani - Hahaha Hollis, what are you doing ? 

Laura - Omg, come on D, next stop Heart attack , you are crazy (trying to catch her breath) 

Laf - Hey Laura ( Hagged) welcome back

Laura - Thank you Laf,your present was amazing

Laf - It was nothing, I'm glad you liked it 

Laura - it kept me company through painful and lonely nights

Dani - What kept you company Hollis ? What are you saying you two ?

Laura - Laf, gave me her book, truly amazing

Perrie - It really is ( hagged each other) I'm very happy and relieved that you fully recovered and came back strong and healthy

Laura - Thanks Per, your advises and our talks helped me so much it came the right time, Thank you again.

Perrie - Well, I'm happy that you found my advise helpful,whatever you need my door and i am here for you 24/7.

Laura - Thank you 

Lieut.Dean - Hollis ? (Laura turned) welcome back,when you finish here and you are ready i need you in my office

Laura - Yes,ma'am, thank you 

What was that ? She already turned her report, everything she got through,everything that remember and the facts was written with details in that report,what else Lieut wanted from her ? 

Dani - Thats new,she never welcomed anyone before,(she raised her eyebrow) thats strange? Anyway welcome back officially lucky cookie (they laughed) how are you feeling ? 

Laura - Relieved that everything went well and finally I'm back, thank God

Dani - I told you so Hollis, everything is gonna be alright.

Laura - Yes, yes u did (smiled)

Dani - Mmmm ( she zoned out)

Laura - D ? Whats going on ? u freaking me out

Dani - Well, i want to ask you something and don't get angry ok ? 

Laura - What ? 

Dani - How are you sleeping ?  Do you still have nightmares ? 

Laura - What ? How ...how do u know that ? (She was so surprised)

Dani - I don't want to think that I'm stalking you or anything else, a couple days ago, i stayed out of your place, in case you needed me or something and i heard screaming around 03:00 am. ( Lower her head, she was kinda embarrassed )

Laura - Why didn't u knock ? ( Laura was fully embarrassed,bc of her screaming.She didn't want Dani to think thats she is a cry baby)

Dani - I didn't want to u to think that I was stalking you 

Laura - D ? (She looked in her eyes) i would never thought that

Dani - Sorry, if i made you feel uncomfortable ( She looked Laura,her look confessed a lot;D had more feeling for Laura than just friends and Laura's look confessed that there was something in there but in her case the things were a little more complicated)
