As they stepped out of the airport terminal the boys were greeted with ten times the shouting, ten times the fans, and ten times the flashing lights than when they were in Korea. Their popularity grew rapidly and they couldn't be more thankful, judging by their faces, the boys were in complete and utter shock.
"wow, they're all so cute." Jungkook whispers in Taehyung's ear, as if their voice can be heard.
A few fans shrieked in reaction to Jungkook and Taehyung's interaction, screaming something along the lines of,
"Vkook!"
"Gosh, why do they think we're all gay?"
The crowd was hectic, too many people were squeezed together in one area causing the boys to trip every few steps. The security guards couldn't do much about it, as they themselves were getting shoved around. Even some of the fans struggled, wanting nothing but to see the boys.
"Ouch!" one fan reacted to another elbowing her in the rib towards the guards. Even though she was there to see the boys she didn't want to be in the midst of all this chaos. It was then she realized it's better to pay than to see them for free.
"Hey, back up!"
One of the many guards pushed the girl away with so much force against her chest that she nocked over a few of the other fans. Like a bowling ball clashing against pins is what it resembled.
"Don't fucking touch me ever again, I don't care who you are."
The girl retaliated and bit the guard that pushed her, in the arm. Nobody noticed except one person and he had his pupil and mind on this girl the entire time, even when they exited the airport.
The guys piled into the car and stopped by the hospital to treat the security guards bite wound and he wouldn't stop complaining the whole way there.
"I can't believe she bit my fucking arm."
"Well maybe you shouldn't have pushed her." Taehyung uttered the fuming words he's been trying to hold back since they got to the hospital.
"I didn't push her."
"I saw you! That wasn't even the first time."
"So what, she's a fan and that's my job!"
"Well our fans aren't trying to hurt us at the end of the day so you shouldn't be using force in anyway."
The guard scoffs at Taehyungs words.
"You're nothing but a shield so stop acting like Luke cage. Stay motionless, unless you want to lose your job."
The rest of the members stared at Taehyung with wide eyes and dropped jaws, they've never seen Taehyungs speak so disrespectfully towards his elders.
Taehyung chuckled and walked out of the room.
"I'll go talk to him."
Jimin followed Taehyung and found him in the car.
"Tae..."
"You know what Jimin, what's the point? What's the point of body guards? Body guards should be for people that are being targeted by violence, but we? We're singers, artists being targeted by love and admiration. Most importantly we're humans."
"Taehyung-"
"Even our haters, they're like twelve they don't have the heart to hurt any of us Jimin."
"Who is she?" Being able to read through the lines, Jimin understood why Taehyung was being extra sensitive about this. Although he didn't doubt Taehyungs sincerity, it was obvious that this was personal.
"A fan... that's all that matters."
"Taehyung you see what happened to Namjoon, why would you put yourself in this position. Having feelings for a fan is too hard to handle!"
"And loving a fellow member since debut is easy to handle?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
"Jimin I know you love him, everybody knows but him. And maybe even you?"
The four actions back to back confirmed it, looking down at his hands, leaning back against the chair, looking up at the roof, and sighing. Jimin tried to hide it for years but he couldn't underestimate the intellect of the other members. They have more to their minds than creating genius music.
"Taehyung I... I do" for the first time Jimin cried.
"Come." Taehyung held his arms open for Jimin to enter.
"Do you guys hate me? I shouldn't have these feelings for him."
"Hey, hey, hey," Taehyung rested his hands on either sides of Jimin's shoulders as he spoke.
"We wouldn't hate you even if you killed someone. Besides dude, you guys would be so cute together. Also, Yoongi is totally bi."
The two laughed harder than ever as the weight lifted off Jimin's chest with every cackle.
"But you never told me about this fan." Jimin decided to push further to break Taehyung like Taehyung broke him.
"I saw her at the fanmeet in Malaysia a few months ago... she-"
Taehyung coughed before he continued,
"She told me she came to give her condolences for my grandma passing away... she said she's a big fan but when it comes to life humans are humans."
"Wow that's deep."
"She tried to talk more... but with our stupid five second like rule, the same guard who pushed her today, pushed her that day at the fan meet."
"What an ass!"
"The way she retaliated made her intriguing to me, I saw not just a fan but also a beautiful strong independent women. She really made me see more in our fans."
"Do you think you'll see her again?"
"I don't know what she's doing all the way in New York, but as long as we're in the same city there's no doubt."
"She was at the airport was she not."
Right before the car door opened Taehyung winked at Jimin.
"Alright let's go love birds." Yoongi rolled his eyes at the two.
