chapter 4

Hayden stood still for a couple seconds after the mysterious woman's insult. He then sprinted full speed at her, attempting to tackle her. She waited until Hayden was right in front of her before tripping and pressing a blade into the back of his neck. Hayden couldn't tell what it was as he was face down on a dusty and dry wood floor.

"Lady, who even are you?"Hayden asked, annoyed. She pulled out some cherry red lipstick from her bra. It seemed as if it defied physics to Hayden. She put a layer on her lips, smacked them together and put it back away.

"You can call me Ella"she said and stood up off of him. She was slightly taller than Hayden. She drew back the knife and pulled up the bottom of her skirt. It revealed sleek tan thighs with the same colored panties as her skirt and a sheath strapped on the very top of her thigh.

She sheathed the knife in the sheath and folded her skirt back down. Hayden began to stand up as Lee yawned and rolled over while stretching his arms out.

Ella walked over to Lee and helped wake him up. Hayden was extremely confused, how did Ella know Lee?
Lee sat up and rubbed his eyes."oh, Hayden! I've been meaning to talk to you."

Hayden walked over and sat on the other side of Lee on the couch."what's up? And who's this chick."Hayden asked."Lee replied as he began to stand up."we have to leave the town! What'd I tell these people about trusting the black skulls, they cut us off! Soarella here, is from an organization that I am secretly a member of.

"W-what?"Hayden stuttered."alright kid, prepare yourself."Lee said as he stood up. Hayden looked at Lee with curious eyes."look, my name, is really Stanley Grey. This organization is the good guys of a conflict that's been going on since almost the entire beginning of the new world."Stanley said. Ella stood up next to him."and I'm his body guard."Ella put out.

Okay, Stan, um, who's the bad guys?"Hayden said, getting used to saying Stan's actual name.
"The black skulls, they've been a super power since the beginning of it.I remember when we first encountered the black skulls. Especially black skull himself..."Stan said.

Stan turned and began to pack a suitcase."well, it looks like you already have some stuff ready. We could use your help tiger."Ella said.

She handed him his bag and bow. Hayden slung his bow over one shoulder and the bags strap over his other shoulder."I'm in, my hometowns dead. I think this might be my direction in life."Hayden said hopefully.

"Well, the black skulls came in control of the material that the world was fussing over. And we've received information that the material has life preservation properties."Ella said."yeah, so?"Hayden said, unphased.

"Well, that means, that our groups true leader, the reason for our assembly, the rebel who began our resistance."Ella said. Stan turned around with his bag packed."the young man who was stronger than any of us, could be alive."Stan said with a far out expression.

"Also, the black skulls stole mysterious creatures that were in the meteor."Ella added."yes they abuse and expirament on them."Ella said with a sad expression. They all walked together toward the door.

"Whoa, this is all intense. So, who's this dude who you guys thought was dead?"Hayden asked. Ella opened the door and walked out of the door first."he's not just some dude. His name, was Kaleb..."Stan said as he walked out of the door.
