Double Dare You

I was only here because my bff Ari had double dared me. Now I'm sitting at this bar nursing a cherry coke, waiting on a mystery man. I rolled my eyes skywards, muttering under my breath, swearing that Ari was going to get an ear full when I got home. Just as I was about to get up and leave, when my blind date walked thru the door. I knew it was him the moment we locked eyes. He was tall, muscular, handsome, and a devilish air about him. He was dressed in dark bluejeans, white dress shirt, black jacket, and dress shoes.

I felt like the air had been sucked outta my lungs, like I was in a trance. He approached me with that devil may care grin, and held out a single dark rose. " Double dare you" He whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine.

I took the beautiful flower and was pricked. "Ouch!" I placed my finger to my lips, just as crimson blood rose to the surfaced. He took my hand in his and kissed the back of it. "I'm sorry that such a delicate beauty was hurt by an evil thorn." I could feel a heated blush creep over my skin, he smiled at my reaction. "I'm fine now, thank you for your concern." We sat down at a corner table and ordered a bottle of french wine. We talked about sports, the strange weather and everything in between. "So how do you know Ari?" He smiled at me. "I know Ari's brother Sam. We worked together on a few major development projects in the past."

I nodded my head, smiling. " So I heard Ari double dared you to go.out on a blind date with me?" I blushed and bit my lower lip. " Yea,

She knew I wouldn't agree to a blind date, unless she double dared me." He laughed, which sounded like a deep sexy chuckle. My pulse started to race, and my heart pounded against my chest. "So she double dared you into going out with me?, I hope you're not disappointed?" "Not at all Mr. Sawyer, I'm happy I accepted her dare." He grinned revealing a dimple in his right cheek. " Call me Aden, please." "Alright Aden, it, is then. You can call me Kassie." I smiled back at him. The local band played a slow song and Aden stood beside me holding out his hand. " Shall we dance?" I placed my hand in his and let him lead me on the empty dance floor. He wrapped me in his arms, and pulled me close. I breathed his sent in deeply, biting my lip to stifle a moan. A surge of tingling pleasure raced down my spine, as his lips brused against the tender flesh of my neck.

I couldn't stop the trembling or the moan that made it's way past my lips. He growled low against my ear, "Double dare you Kassie to kiss me."

I was a little shocked when he uttered those three little words, Aden knew damn well that I could not ignore his dare. I stood on my tip toes and tilted my head towards his, closing my eyes. Aden's lips pressed against mine, growling with a dark desire. His hands traced over the little black dress I wore, and down to the hemline. I bit his lip and moaned loudly, my breathing became ragged. Aden's mouth moved over my jaw and down my neck. I cried out as I felt a prick, then a sudden rush of pleasure. He held me tightly, as we danced slowly to the music. "Kassie, I know we've just met, but I want you to come away with me tonight."

I looked up into his beautiful bedroom eyes, the color of creamed coffee, with a splash of gold. Then we whispered those three little words. "Double dare you, Kassie." I nervously bit my lip, and swallowed the lump in my throat. "I...I can't Aden, I have to go now."

With that I grabbing my coat, and purse leaving Aden stunned, and the rose still sitting on the table.

I could feel my heart pounding wildly inside my chest, as I drove home. I still felt his lips on mine, and the blaze of his kisses over my skin.

Pulling up infront of my house I got out and let myself in. My cell began to ring, it was Ari. I answered it on the second ring. "Hi Ari, no everythings alright. The date was great, and of course he's handsome." I could hear Ari's bubbly laughter thru the phone. "I knew you two would hit it off. So do I hear wedding bells in the near future?" She laughed again. I rolled my eyes and stuck out my tounge. "No you do not hear any wedding bells, not anytime soon. I don't think there will be another date either." Ari pretended to be dumb struck. "Awe well, so much for wishful thinking. Hey listen, I have two tickets front row, to see Theroy Of A Dead Man, you wanna go? It's this weekend." I sighed, thinking for a moment. "I'd love to Ari, but I have to be in court first thing because I have a huge case to try." I could hear Ari, sigh in disappointment. "Fine I'll call Lilly and see if she can go. So I'll see you on the flip side. Bye Kass." With that we hung up. I made my way towards my bathroom, and started a hot bubble bath in my huge garden tub. I soaked all the aches of the day away, but Mr.Sawyer kept creeping up in my mind. Groaning with dark wanton desire, as memories of his lips reeking havoc across my heated skin, his hands tracing over my body sending shivers of pleasure down my spine. Drying off quickly, and dressing into my favorite pj's. I grabbed a small carton of chocolate chip ment and a spoon, heading to my livingroom, sitting down on my couch. Turning on the tv, of course reruns of TrueBlood's last seasons were playing.

After I finnished my icecream, I quickly brushed my teeth and called it a night.

My alarm clock went off bright and early, I really didn't want to get up but work calls. Dressing quickly into my navy blue pinstriped pencil skirt, matching jacket and silk blouse. I made a few calls to my boss, and to Ari letting her know that I won't beable to make our girls only dinner because of my busy schedule. She acted like it didn't bother her, but deep down inside I knew better.

I was in court for the better part of the day prosecuting low lifes. I dragged my feet as five 'clock rolled around, I was exausted.

My cell rang no sooner than I opened my door. "Hello, you've reached Kassidy Conners. How may I help you?" I immediately recognized his voice, and it sent shivers along my spine. "Kassie, I need to see you, tonight." I sighed and worried my lower lip. " Tonight? Aden I don't know if that's such a good idea." I could hear a pause, then a muffled curse. " Kassie, I double dare you to go out with me tonight." It was my turn to breath deep. "Fine Aden, on one condition." "Yes, Kassie?" "Promise me no more double dare's." " I promise, no more, unless I want you to kiss me again." I could hear humor in his voice, and I had to laugh. He laughed to, and it made me blush. "Until tonight Kassie." We said goodbye and hung up.

I took a quick shower, and dressed in a very stunning, body hugging off the shoulder red dress. My hair pulled to the side in a half twist, matching teardrop earrings, and a red and black choker.

My doorbell rang, answering it, seeing Aden standing there dressed handsomely in a dark three piece suit. His expression was priceless. "Wow, Kassie you look amazing." Iblushed from his complaint. " Thank you Aden, you look handsome yourself." He smiled, and winked at me. "Shall we go? I have a reservation for two at this little Italian bestro." He held my hand as we walked towards his black Audi A4. I couldn't hide my expression. " It's beautiful Aden. If you're into those types of cars, me personally I love classic muscle cars." He helped me into the passenger side of the car, and walked around to the driver side sliding in.

" Thanks, but this is my business car, my weekend car is actually a classic '75 shelby cobra." He grinned widely in my direction. I couldn't help but smile back. " So Aden, where exactly is this Italian bestro?" " We'll its not far from down town, and I rented the whole place out." I nodded, smiling. " I see."

Moments later we arrived at the restaurant, the valet came an drove away the moment we went inside.

Aden escorted me to our table, and held out my chair for me to sit down. He ordered a bottle of redwine, and an order of appitizers.

The waiter left us to get our order. Aden smiled leaning over the table taking my hand in his, bringing it to his lips, I could feel myself blush deeply. "I hope you like what chef michael prepared for us. I had it expeshally made for you." I smiled

"I'm sure I will love it, as long as it doesn't contain any peanut products, I'll be fine." "I promise you that it has no peanut products what so ever in it." After a glass of wine and appitizers, Aden ordered our dinner, which was fantastic. Everything was wonderful, and delicious. I even told him so, itmade him smile. " I'm glad you enjoyed everything, now for desert." " I couldn't eat another bite, besides its really beautiful out tonight. Maybe we could go out onto the terrace?" He nodded and took my hand leading me outside. Soft music played from somewhere behind us. Next thing I know were dancing close together, close as two people could be. His arms wrapped around me possessivly. I closed my eyes and let him lead.

He whispered low and soft in my ear. "I double dare you Kassie." I trembled in his arms. "Double dare me to do what Aden?" He growled in my ear.,"I double dare you to kiss me like you did the other night." I moaned softly. Aden took that that as a yes and claimed my mouth, at first he was hard and demanding, then he became soft and exciting. I craved more of his kisses, the way his rough calloused hands possessed my body.
