Lucia's P.O.V
I scream. Samara flinches then grins at me."Hey Luci. Been awhile huh?" She says.
I nod, bobbing my head up and down. She spreads her arms and beckons me closer. I grin and run over to her, embracing her in a massive bear hug.
"Ribs Luci. Ribs ribs ribs!" She says breathlessly.
I release her and grin again.
"So, how're you doing Kitten? Been a long time since I last heard tell of you." I say humorously.
She boops my nose then looks over my shoulder to where Cole is standing with his gun at his side. She smiles softly, then moves past me to embrace him. I watch them hug, giggling and squealing as my ship had once again been sailed. I put back my knives as they hug longer still, then Samara gestures us over to the sectional in the corner. She starts to tell her tale.
Cole's P.O.V
I gape at her. I hadn't seen her in five years. As Lucia crushes her, I just stand there and stare at her. Her golden blonde hair cascading down her back, held in place by a small circlet of gold around her forhead, is catching the rising sun. Her jade green eyes framed by her long eyelashes sparkle with an electricity I haven't seen in awhile. I smile with a sigh of relief and amazement. She's back. Finally. After Lucia releases her, she glances towards me. A soft smile spreads across her face as she gently slides past Lucia and glides over to me. Before she even reaches me, I rush forward and pull her against me. She smells fruity, with a hint of jasmine. I squeeze her tighter, never wanting to let go."Samara." I say, my voice cracking slightly.
As she pulls back, I notice she's wearing a camo shirt rolled up to her elbows and black leggings with combat boots. Her old boot camp uniform, with the same patch I have on mine, our nation's crest wrapped in a Narolean branch. I give her a confused look and she sighs heavily.
"Come on." She gestures towards the small sectional in the corner opposite where we found her.
She gestures for us to sit down, then takes a deep breath.
She starts "It began when we got separated on that mission five years ago..."
A/N: Sorry this is a short one, I'm going through ANOTHER case of writers block. 😖 Expect something soon though. Bye!
