A/N: This chapter is based completely on Lucia's P.O.V. Enjoy!
I groan as I pull on my coat, Cole and Samara still cuddling on the couch. I mean, it's cute, but not when they're constantly together. It kinda bugs me then. I unlock the three locks on the door and open it to reveal a white, crystalline blanket of snow completely covering the ground. I shiver as the freezing cold air hits me and bites at my nose. My breath coming out in warm puffs like smoke, I trudge down the sidewalk to the bus stop. I pat down my pockets looking for the bus pass when my hand touches someone else's. I look up into azure eyes sparkling like the sun. I'm startled for a moment when I realize I'm still holding their hand. They chuckle and fold my hand over something plastic. I look down and am surprised to see my bus pass.
"You dropped this while walking through the snow. I thought you might need it." They say smiling.
"Well duh I would." I reply cautiously.
They chuckle and walk back down the sidewalk.
"Oh and, by the way, I included my number. Gimme a ring sometime." They shout over their shoulder waving to me.
I stand there dazed and confused. I keep looking from the direction where the person went to my hand, where a tiny slip of paper flutters in the wind. I straighten up and pull out my phone. As the dial tone rings, I impatiently tap my heel against the pavement. When she picks up, I let out an exhilarated sigh.
"Finally. I have a request for you." I say quietly into the phone.
"What can I do for ya Luci?" She responds, apparently humored to see me in such a huff.
"You can start by looking someone up for me. Then givin me most of their info. Important business." I say.
She chuckles and I can almost hear the sly smirk on her face as she ask for her payment. I sigh and name the agreed amount. She chuckles again.
"Friday. Come to the Underground later and we'll meet with Mark and Nick to get the papers." She says nonchalantly.
"Really?!?! I hate Nick! He's such a douche!"
"Yeah, but he's one of our best agents, so deal with it."
I growl lowly then hang up and plop down on the bench. It was still ten minutes until the bus showed up, so I started playing around on my phone. I toy with the idea of texting the mystery person, then quickly banish it.
"That would be stupid, you don't know them" I thought. "But then again, taking risks is part of the job."
I punch in the number and hover my thumb over the dial button. I bit my lip, hesitating to call a random stranger I just met at a bus stop.
"Stop thinking so much." I thought as I press the button.
A/N: Sorry this was short, I'm running out of ideas and have slight writers block 😖 See ya later!
