Across the ocean, Sally, Max, and Rachel had discussed Braedey's problem with Alan, and wonder if there was something they could do to help him.

Finally, Alan had an idea. "Now that we've had time to recuperate and recover from the loss of Cybertron, along with our fallen brethren and sisters, I think we need a vacation, or some time away from home for a bit. Maybe some time away from here could help Braedey overcome the depression, and maybe, get back into the leader we all know and care for."

"That's a good idea, Alan. But, where could we go?" Rachel asked.

"Wait. Max, what about that pen pal you made on the Internet via my computer?" Alan asked.

"Yeah. I have his address. He lives up in Coolsville, California." Max replied. "Where's your computer? I'll send him an I.M to tell him what's going on."

Getting himself down in front of Alan's computer, Max sent an Instant Message. The message read as shown...

MaximumOverdrive: Hi!! My friend Braedey has been feeling depressed lately, and I'd like to know if we might come over to visit you.

After a few moments, an Instant Message replied. It read as presented...

JonesOnline: Hi, Max! Good to hear from you again. Sure, you can come over. It will be good to meet you in person at last. I will expect you tomorrow at 3PM.

"Sweet! He says we can go and visit him!" Max told the others. Immediately, Sally and Rachel cheered and jumped about, whilst max and Alan snickered.

"Okay. Let's go and tell Braedey!" Sally was just about to leave the room, but Rachel stopped her before she left the room.

"Hold on. We can't just tell him so suddenly." Rachel interjected. "We'll have to be nice and discrete about it."

Inside Braedey's room, which was soundproof, the brunette was staring out of his room, looking out to the blue sky.

Their room was spacious but nothing extravagant. It had a bathroom, closet, and a large room that had a queen-sized bed in the centre, which had two nightstands with a lamp on both sides. The flooring in the bathroom was composed of white tile while the rest of the room featured red carpeting. The walls were smooth and painted in golden-white, while the ceilings were boarded with dark oak.

The far wall opposite to the door included a rather large two-pane window, which had burgundy curtains on either side of them. The view it provided was amazing; it overlooked the landscape nearby and the city far away. All in all, it was a nice room to stay in.

He kept looking out to the window, then heard the sound of someone knocking at his door. "Enter." He called out, but there was no answer.

He then had a bad feeling, and had a thought of something sinister. Immediately, he heard the sounds of transforming and felt his right arm shift. His lower right arm had transformed into a semicircular-shaped barrel with blue light gleaming through the seams.

He walked up to the door, being very quiet with each of his footsteps, his senses heightened immediately, and he gripped the door handle ever so slightly, just so nobody knew he was in the room. Then, he pulled the door open, and aimed his blaster down the hall on both sides of his room. He saw there was nobody around.
