Fifteen minutes soon passed by, and miraculously, with no appearance by the Decepticon Deadtread. Braedimus and the others explained to Mystery Inc. about the Autobots and Decepticons being at war on their home planet Cybertron, then that they had to leave, and ended up on Earth.
"...And that's how we all became the Human Autobots." Braedey finished. He was down on one knee, so he could talk closer to the humans, whilst Striker and Blades were sitting down, their legs up to their chests, and both Grim and Heatwave stood next to him.
"Like wow." Shaggy said. "you mean, like, you guys used to live on a planet of transforming robots?"
"But, there's one thing I don't understand. Why were you and the Decepticons at war with one another?" Velma asked, looking skeptical.
"Foremost, for control over our planet's Energon supply, the lifeblood of all Autobots and Decepticons alike." Braedimus answered for her. The red and blue titan paused for a moment, reflecting on old and painful memories before he continued. "In the beginning, I fought alongside one whom I considered a second mentor to mine, but in war, ideals can become corrupted. And it was then that he lost his way."
"You mean...you idolised someone else besides Optimus Prime?" Daphne asked.
"Indeed." Braedimus nodded his helm to her.
Suddenly, a beeping sound came out of nowhere. Heatwave realised something, and pulled out what looked like a detector. He took a look at it, and behind his visor, his optics widened.
"By the AllSpark." He gasped.
"What's the problem, Doc?" Grim asked.
"The scanner is detecting an Energon source, about three Klicks Northeast from our current position." Heatwave replied.
"No way!" Striker jumped up to her feet, and felt ready to go.
"Energon? On Earth?" Velma asked. "Isn't that stuff always on Cybertron?"
"During a period in the Great War, both sides of the war-torn curtain began to hide their Energon spoils off world." Braedimus explained.
"It would explain why there are deposits on planets such as this one." Heatwave agreed.
"And it would stand to reason that battles were waged on planets such as this one." Braedimus then added. Then, he looked out to the Northeast, and at the time they'll reach the site, it'll soon be dawn. "Let's go. We have a lot of road to cover."
With that, the Human Autobots transformed into their vehicle modes, and their friends climbed into their vehicle modes. Once onboard, they drove away to the location. On each of the vehicle's dashboards, there was a radar screen, and it had picked up on the Energon signal.
Daphne was quiet inside of Braedimus's firetruck cab, watching the steering wheel move on it's own, along with the gearbox shifter, and pedals. It was really strange for her not to be in control.
"Are you okay, Daphne?" Braedimus's voice then snapped Daphne out of her thoughts. She looked to the Autobot symbol on the steering wheel, which flashed a faint blue every time Prime spoke. "You've been awfully quiet."
"Well, Braedey..." Daphne wasn't sure of what to say first. "It's about...why should we, out of all humans, be trusted with what you and the others have told us?"
"You see, before we met, the Matrix of Leadership had sensed five souls, four being human and one being a canine, will be trusted with meeting us five Cybertronians, and assist us in the worst of times, becoming a united force against all evil." Braedimus explained. "Apparently, each of us have something in common with each of you that the Matrix could sense."
