Epilogue Part 1

Percy walks over after the brothers get their bags in the trunk and leans against the car. Annabeth, Jason, Leo and Nico follow him.

    "I think we seriously underestimated you guys at the beginning, you were amazing out there. We wouldn't have done it without your help."

     "Well that's what we do." Dean answers.

     "I'd like to invite you to camp Half-Blood sometime. It'd be nice to have you there."

      "We'd feel very protected." Leo adds with a smirk.

   
       "Sure," Dean says and laughs, "maybe on our vacation."

    Percy laughs, and Jason smiles. Dean reaches behind him into the car and roots around in the glovebox. He pulls out a folded scrap of paper and hands it to Percy.

  
    "You ever need us, that's my phone number." He says firmly. "If I don't answer, leave a message and I'll get back to you."

  
     Percy tucks the paper in his back pocket and smiles. "Thank you so much for everything."

     Sam opens the passenger door and settles in his seat. Dean sticks his hand out and Percy grabs if and shakes. Jason shakes next and Dean winks.

     "See you guys later." He says, and walks around the car. Opening the driver door, he sinks into the plush seat of the Impala. He starts the car and the engine purrs. With his hand on the gear shifter, he turns to the passenger window and leans across Sam.

     "Remember," he starts with a smile, " saving people, hunting things, the family business."
