I wanna hide the truth
I wanna shelter you
But with the beast inside
There’s nowhere we can hide
"Hey Payne, where are you going?" A boy, with sandy blonde hair and green eyes that resemble the color of a Colorado Pine Tree, says.
Liam took me back to Wolverhampton for the holiday's this year, and to meet his more distant family. It took a little convincing, but eventually he agreed to take me to his home. We have spent our first day exploring the town, Liam remembering his childhood and telling me stories.
"Not today, James." Liam dismisses him, tugging me away from the fountain we were sitting by before the boy, James, came.
"Does Liam Payne of One Direction, the biggest boyband in the world, not have time for his people anymore?"
"Of course, just not you."
"Liam, that's rude." I scold him quietly as he keeps tugging me away.
He ignores my scolding and takes me back to his house, where his family is wating to meet me.
* * * * *
"Do you think they liked me?" I ask Liam. His family just walked out the door and i need to know if they liked me or not.
"They loved you." he assures me as we walk into his bedroom.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, babe. They told me so."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"I have another question."
"If this is about my family, i already told you--" I cut him off.
"It's not."
"Okay, ask away." He smiles.
"Who was that guy, James?"
His smiling face immediately darkens at the mention of the boys name.
What is with him and this James guy? Do they have bad history? I question myself silently.
"It's not important." He says, his body stiff.
"It obviously is, every time he is either around or mentioned you get all weird." I shoot back at him.
He's not getting away with this.
"I don't want to talk about it, alright? Just drop it."
"No, i will not just--"
"(Y/N), i said drop it!" He raises his voice at me in a frantic way i've never seen before.
"Fine." I give in.
Instead of trying to get the answer out of him like i want to, i walk out of the room and drop the subject... for now.
