Sometimes I don't feel like myself anymore around him. I tried to keep the friendship between us, but my heart is just aching for my lips against his. I keep my distance. I'm more quiet. He doesn't notice, of course, it's not like he noticed my feelings in the first place. Whoa Dodie you're sounding a bit hateful towards him. You need to calm.

I sipped from my tea as he sat across the room from me. I didn't know what to say, neither did he. I was content with the silence, but he obviously was not. Jon was wriggling around in his seat, tapping against his lap, clicking his fingers, clapping, anything to get rid of the silence. I just sat there minding my own business.

"Look Dodie, we need to talk," he finally broke the silence, licking his lips nervously. "About?" I ask. "Your feelings, toward me," he said. "Whys that?" I sounded snarky and rude, I didn't mean to, but it's just the mood I was in. "You're being distant, you didn't want to go to Paris with me, and now you're hanging out with Thomas Sanders, did you see the comments on that video?" He sounded annoyed as I felt.

"Thomas just wanted to make a video, and I couldn't turn down someone with such musical talent," I simply said. Jon rolled his eyes. "He gives you those eyes like you're the light of his life." I noticed, I adored how he did that, all the comments were screaming about it. "So what if he does? It's not going to affect our relationship," I sipped more of my tea. "Dodie, we need to sort this out," he spoke slowly. "I don't know what you mean," I reply.

"You're being difficult," he grumbled, and he got up from his chair. "I'm going to leave now, and I'll talk to you soon when you're in a better mood," he said and walked out of the room. I waited until I heard the door close for me to start crying. I set the cup down and bit my lip hard, as if that would stop me from crying even more. What did I just do?
