Chapter 16

It had been a few days since you had kicked the captain in the balls. You and Arthur had finally made a truce after all of the incidents. 

Now, you were exploring the ship. You had been on the ship for around a month, yet there were still so many places you had yet to see... one of them being Arthur's cabin. You had only been there once when you deposited Gilbert, but today you were determined to see what secrets lied in store. 

The only problem was that Arthur stayed in his cabin for hours. You needed a way to keep him out, and finally you had an idea. During lunch, you secretly stuck a sleeping pill in his food and he ended up falling asleep on the table. It wasn't all your work though, you had a partner in crime - Alfred. It wasn't hard convincing him to help you, he also wanted to look through Arthur's stuff.

And now, it was time. 

"Finally! I get to see where Arthur's been hiding his porn!" Alfred shouted gleefully. You snorted, shushing him at the same time. Both of you pushed open the door to the cabin, and was greeted by an extremely organized room.

"Let's start," you whispered. Alfred grinned and the both of you started looking around the room. 

After around ten minutes, you hadn't found anything. You looked over to Alfred's side and saw that he had also found nothing.

"The only interesting thing I've been able to find is this strange statue," he whispered, holding what looked like a marble statue of a rabbit with wings. You slumped. How is it that there was nothing suspicious in the room? 

Suddenly, there was a noise. Both of you shut up to hear the noise clearer. 

"Oh shit. Arthur's coming!" Alfred muttered as both of you rushed to hide somewhere. Quickly, you flung yourself in a corner as Alfred tried to get underneath a table. 

"(fake name)! I can't fit!" Alfred whispered to you, his eyes widening. The door flung open revealing a dark silhouette. 

"I knew it..." 

Arthur pulled Alfred out from underneath the table, his eyes dark. 

"Arthur-please I can explain!" Alfred frantically shouted, as the blond captain pulled him by his ear. 

"The hero is down! I repeat the hero is down!" Alfred screamed. Arthur dragged the brunette outside the room. After what seemed like an eternity, you crept out from the corner. The door was shut again.

"Poor Alfred," you muttered, yet extremely happy that it wasn't you who was found. "Let's look around a little more,"

Walking forward, you suddenly felt yourself falling to the floor.

"Ouch! What the hell?" you whisper-yelled. Looking down, you saw the same statue that Alfred had before. "What even is this thing?" Then, you noticed there was a pedestal on the table.

Crawling to the table, you inspected the pedestal and realized that there was an imprint in it, as if... wait. You grabbed the bunny statue and fitted it on the pedestal.

Hearing rumbling behind you, you turned around to see that a bookshelf had moved and there was a door behind it. 

"Jackpot!"
